hormone levels on the pill

OH, I don't have a period at all with out pills and so I have not been on the pill for about 3 months now, they make me sick, I hate taking them.

I have been suffering with PMDD for some time now (I'm 18) and I can no longer be going through this nearly every month. What's more beneficial? Going on the pill to stop this and increase my risk of getting certain disease and mood swings or just cope? I know there are other things I can get too like the rod or the coil so if you have any experience with that please let me know.

I have a 6 month old little girl and went back on the bc pill about three months ago. This month, i have started spotting and having all my period symptoms but i'm not due to have my period for another week or so. I took a HPT this morning and it was negative so i'm wondering, what would be the cause of this? Has anyone had this happen to them?

t 100% effective. I was on the pill for 2 years from the age of 14. I got pregnant at 16 whilst I was on the pill. I also caught back before xmas whilst on the pill. The pill is only 9.99% effective do there is still a very very small chance. Its not very often people can catch on the pill but just be carefull if you dont want a child and if Ur worried Ur pregnant take a test.

The gynecologists said that is probably becasue I was on the pill and it affected the results. But everyone who knows me and touches me says that I am so hot it is unbelievable. I sweat excessively and I feel a little irritable. It is not stress or nerves. I am positive it is hormones. So where do I go from here and what do I do??? I fee like no one wants to help becasue I am only 40. Need some encouragement. Thanks....

ll have to make that final decision. At 15, neither she nor the doctor can sign off on the surgery. Parent/guardian must do that. My suggestion is to NOT panic, revisit all the information, discuss everything over and over until you are satisfied that you are making the best decision you can based on info you have. It's possible that the hormone levels from the birth control play a role in this. It would be worth a review of this issue with your doctor. Have you tried using Immodium D for the diarrhea? There are other anti diarrheals out there, but that's the one I know the name of. I usually have the opposite problem myself with the IBS, so I'm usually making every effort to make it go not stop. I do know that many people rely on Immodium D.

the bidnign ingredients in the snythorid causes a lot of issues ith people and if you look up the side effects one of the rare ones is weight gain/. I was on it for 4 weeks stragiht and then went off a week and now back on my tsh leveel i just had done was 1.73 but he still wants it to be 1.0 so ha dme cut it in half and go from there. I get lots of hot flashes and heart palpataions and have gianed about 5 pounds on it and it also makes me very very much a high aniety level so we will see.

I have been on the pill since I was 16 years old. My husband and I decided we wanted to TTC this year so I quit the pill a little over a month ago. We TTC for about 7 days around my ovulation. I was suppose to start my period April 28th (that's when I would have started if I was on the pill). It is now May 1st and I have still not started. I have had Pregnancy symptoms such as cramping, sore breasts, nausea, dizziness, fatigue. I took a test April 30th and it said negative.

So I had to go to the er on Friday cause I was bleeding, they checked my hormone level and it was a little over 36,000 and when I went back today, it was only 40,000, a little more, and it supposed to be double is that a problem? Or could be any problems with the baby?

Hello can anywhen give any knowledge on these hormone levels, my dr is away till thursday and they're bizarre. Firstly I DO NOT HAVE A CYCLE as my body weight is low so these were not taken on day 3 as i dont know when day 3 would fall, fsh 14, lh 11 , eostrogen 142, progesterone 43. The other dr i spoke to seemed to think that i may actually get a period this month, i am trying to put on weight ready for our 4th ivf in june. P.

if by chance early in the pregnancy a woman may experince bleeding or anything showing concern for the pregnancy the Dr can use the levels to give a measurement of the viablitly of the pregnancy but usually are not routinely checked unless there is some concern... and after the heartbeat is seen on an US the levels are no longer used to determine viability... but like i said this is for early on use...

I have low estrogen levels (102 and they said it should be around 150) and low progesterone levels (11? and they said it should be 15). During these results I was on folistim and then also progesterone pills. I had polyps removed 5 months ago and was told I had polypoid endometrium. Can't find anything on that topic though. What does this mean for my body in general as far as mood/health is concerned and how is my infertility directly related? Been TTC for 3 years...

Can you tell how far along you are with the hormone level from the beta test? I got my results today and my level was 57,972. The nurse said I'm probably around 5 weeks but going off of my lmp I should be 9.6 weeks. I really can't go off of my lmp because with my son, I had gotten pregnant right before my period so I didn't know how far along I was until my ultrasound.

Has anyone encountered this or can explain what might be going on? The pain is getting worse rather than better and the right ovary area feels as though there is a small lump. Could there be a non-infectious cause for the symptoms?Also Is this an A&E problem - currently I'm being routed to the gynaecologist but the appointment could take weeks.

They are about 4 years apart and I was on depo for 2 years after the first child and about 6 months after the 2nd one. Do you think depo would have caused it?

If they do take blood you should be off the pill to get the most accurate results. The blood test will tell if you have high or low hormone levels and yes mood swings have a lot to do with imbalanced hormones.

Doctor prescribed the bio pill based on blood test. Later learned the saliva test was much more accurate. Also, was told the pill form was not good because it diluted too much going through the liver. I am definitely going to show my saliva report to another hormone specialist and will get the cream remixed elsewhere and try that. Still can't seem to find out if taking these could raise the blood pressure levels. Thanks for comments.

Well, you switched from a monophasic pill to a triphasic pill, so it might take your body some time to adjust to having varying levels of hormones instead of having a consistent level as you did with the minestrin. Also, with ortho tri cyclen, I'm pretty sure the lowest level of hormone level it's that first week, then slightly higher the next week and then the highest level the third week before the placebos.
