Avatar n tn As I've mentioned, my TSH is 200 without medication. I take 2 Grains of Armour Thyroid every day. The normal range is 0.3 to 3. With medication my TSH is 0.2. Doc has also checked T3 and T4 levels and advised my cardiologist (HBP) that I should remain on the 2 Grains of Armour. Other symptons would of course be weight gain. I gained a good bit of weight before I learned about my thyroid (10 years ago), and I've never been able to lose it.

1936698 tn?1333915193 I'm confused. My doctor has never told me anything about hormone levels and looking out for them or anything. My friend just had a miscarriage last night at 11 weeks, and I feel terrible for her and I just want to cry because she was so excited. Her hormone level went from 73000 to 1200. How do you tell if your hormones dropped and what is so important about them during pregnancy? I'm 31 weeks along and I am so confused about all of it.
Avatar f tn Hormone levels as in HCG? I'd say no, that's not possible, there is a specific type of blood test (I believe) that you can get done to tell gender, but I don't think insurance covers it, so you'd have had to pay it out of pocket, did you have any issues that would require a specific blood test, or did you request one?

Avatar m tn I do think that my hormone levels are changing and may have something to do with both my breast and leg. Can my hormone levels be affecting my leg and breast? I have been breaking out a lot lately as well.
Avatar f tn 1) I have joint pain right knee, ankle edema with bruising, inner lower right leg rash and lower left leg rash. Right leg rash larger than left leg. My PCP suggested 50 mcg of Levoxyl and 10mcg of Cytomel per conversation with a local Endocrinologist. I'm 62 not on any medication before this 3 weeks and ankle swelling is the same.

Shaky, jaw pain, eye pain, rashes, leg and foot cramping, brain fog, migraines. fatigue, heart palps, loud ringing or pounding in ears, dry skin, hair loss, GERD, heartburn, chest pain, arm pain, and many more issues! Avatar f tn he electrical current / internal tremors you are experiencing is because of a drop in your hormone levels. It is not directly caused by your thyroid hormone levels, but abnormal thyroid hormones can cause a drop in your other hormones, when then leads to the internal tremor. It is NOT fatal, but it can be very scary. The tremors can be more noticable with added stress or upoon waking, going to sleep or resting.
Avatar n tn Your hormone levels are all over the place. One thing you need to be aware of is your potassium levels. I eat a banana when my legs start to hurt especially if I wake up during the night and it helps so much. Good luck!
Avatar n tn My new doctor called me today and said my tsh level are too low and wants to cut down my medicine. I ran out of my cytomel aweek ago and began having symptoms, like fatigue, leg cramps, emotional breakdown. These are all the symptoms I had before we got the right dosage for my medicines back in 2001. My question is what are the normal tsh levels after a thyroidoctomy. I thought your tsh level was suppose to be low. Please advice asap. I am afraid of altering my meds. thank you.
Avatar f tn I go with what Kelsey said about the potassium. When pregnant, one has to be alert to the risk of deep vein thrombosis, which can be signalled by severe leg pain. But DVT doesn't ease when you lie down, and it doesn't happen in both legs at the same time (you'd have to have a clot in both legs that happen coincidentally, which would be almost impossible). It does sound like a muscle protest of some kind, try the potassium and possibly some magnesium or phosphorus.
Avatar m tn just started Tirosint about three months ago and the leg pain and foot pain is awful, but I do sleep better and have less side effects than with Synthroid. Did notice my TSH went to 1.0 so it is better absorbed than Synthroid.
