579258 tn?1250649343 I've invited myself to a co-workers house for Thanksgiving this year, as Mr. Peek will be gone for the whole week! I'm bringing a side dish. The only problem is that our work gives us free turkeys every year, and I don't want a giant turkey hanging around in my freezer until I feel like turkey again. I'm investigating the possibilities of donating it, but the logistics of that may be unworkable, seeing as its frozen.
Avatar f tn I just found this out a week ago and I've been craving turkey subs a lot so naturally I indulged myself unaware. But nothing bad happened and I have two other kids this is my 3rd pregnancy.

1475202 tn?1536270977 I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving and wish the very best to everyone. May you all enjoy precious time with your families and loved ones! Randy Thanksgiving: In the United States, the modern Thanksgiving holiday tradition is commonly, but not universally, traced to a poorly documented 1621 celebration at Plymouth in present-day Massachusetts. The 1621 Plymouth feast and thanksgiving was prompted by a good harvest.

Avatar f tn I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has as pain free a day as absolutely possible and gets to spend the holiday with family and friends that are important to them. Eat, rest, nap, watch football, eat, rest, nap, watch football -- repeat until bedtime - I'd say that's the ultimate prescription for today! Enjoy the gobble, gobble day everyone!

Avatar n tn Foods such as beef, pork, lamb, sardines, bacon, liver, salmon, and turkey should be eaten in smaller quantities. (That;s why many have gout flares around Thanksgiving! Lots of turkey and ham!) People who have gout attacks should definitely avoid alcohol, especially beer. A recent study discussed the effects vitamin C may have on reducing gout attacks. Here's a little link: http://health.usnews.com/articles/health/healthday/2009/03/09/more-vitamin-c-may-mean-less-chance-of-gout.

202436 tn?1326474333 (I stuff it first of course). I made my first thanksgiving dinner for family last year and my turkey was super moist and yummy. I do rub ol' tom down with a mixture of salt, pepper and poultry seasoning then put some chicken (yeah I use chicken broth) broth in the bottom of the roasting pan to mix with the natural juices from the turkey. Nothing fancy but so yummy.
