Common Questions and Answers about Hormone free food pregnancy

hormone

Avatar f tn Hey, How long does it usually take for the pregnancy hormone to get out of your system after a MC? I called my Ob the other day and she said that as long as I wasn't bleeding then we could start ttc again. So, I was just wondering how long the hormone stays in your system.
Avatar m tn You should try organic or cage free eggs. Most grocery stores carry them.
20922415 tn?1661860103 During the reproductive years, the pituitary gland in the brain generates hormones (follicle-stimulating hormone [FSH] and luteinizing hormone [LH]) that cause a new egg to mature and be released from its ovarian follicle each month. As the follicle develops, it produces the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone, which thicken the lining of the uterus called the endometrium.
Avatar m tn Forgot to mention -- this isn't "FREE" food. It costs $ to buy the seed, fertilizer, water, time, etc. No "free" food.
Avatar f tn Anyone have experience with pregnancy after having a preemie? What sort of side effects do the hormone shots have?
Avatar n tn are you sure how far along you are? is it possible that you are further in to your pregnancy than 8 weeks? I ask this because HCG levels during the first trimester will peak sometime around 9 to 12 weeks of pregnancy, at somewhere around 25,700 to 288,000 mIU/ml. By the final weeks of the first trimester week 13 and 14, hCG levels are finally on the decline, and will be at around 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml. From there, hCG levels tend to continue the downward change into the second trimester.
Avatar n tn Anyone have a similar situation. Another question is how long does the pregnancy hormone stay in your body after a MC, was questioning my three positive tests. I did have a negative test 5 days prior to doing the other three so I was hoping that was my answer. Going for a blood test Monday.
Avatar n tn A doctor must always look at the free T4 and free T3 thyroid hormone levels. He should consider them significant when both are below the mid-point of their reference ranges in a symptomatic patient, and they certainly represent hypothyroidism when both in the lower third of their population ranges, regardless of the TSH." This is the link to the full arrticle. http://www.hormonerestoration.com/Thyroid.
Avatar f tn Free T3 is the active thyroid hormone and correlates best with symptoms, while Free T4 is a storage hormone, which must first be converted to Free T3 in order to be used. You should also ask your doctor to test thyroid antibodies to determine if you have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, as this is the most common cause of hypothyroidism. Hashimoto's gradually, destroys the thyroid, creating a demand for periodic increases in replacement thyroid hormones.
Avatar f tn At the very least, you need TSH, Free T3 and Free T4; depending on those results, you will want to get tested for antibodies. You also need to have an ultra sound to check for nodules on your thyroid. Do you have any symptoms of hypothyroidism? If so, which?
535460 tn?1213418378 hi again, i didnt realize that you have pcos but anyways im trying to get pregnant also and my dr gave me metformin 1500mg a day and for my understanding it helps balance out your hormone so that you can start having regulated periods and once that happens you'll start to ovulate but some women take metformin along with clomid i haven't started that yet i want to see if i can get pregnant with out the clomid i've only been on metformin for a month now ,but if your dr perscribe it f
Avatar f tn So the TSH is 197- no decimal point? WOW! I think the link I sent you talks about free vs. total testosterone. Hopefully someone else here has been through the hormone testing and can give you better advice. I just know what I learn in the lab and don't have personal experience with these tests. It's complicated!
1363590 tn?1277807077 For a certain period I would go through a special diet rich in protein (no carbs) and meanwhile my body "thinking I'm pregnant" would start to get "food" from my body. Eating my fatness. So there I'd start to loose weight. My questions are: Is that safe? Would that somehow mess up my hormone system? What the side effects? Thank you so much;. God bless you. Marcella.
7754230 tn?1408540347 Im 9wks along & when I eat dinner, lunch or breakfast I can only eat like half of what I normally ate pre- pregnancy. Im not nauseous or anything but I seem to get "stuffed" with such a little amount of food. Does anyone else have this issue? (p.s.
Avatar n tn I agree with the need to make sure you get plenty of vitamin B-12, which comes only from animal products. Also make sure to eat nutrient dense foods, not just anything because it's not from an animal. In addition to everything else that's been mentioned, you should be sure to have your thyroid function tested to make sure there's enough thyroid hormones for, both, you and your fetus.
Avatar n tn thyroid antibodies would be good to test in addition to Free T3 and Free T4. Good luck!
