Avatar m tn Hi sorry hormone therapy will not help at all , there are no pills or cream to make your penis any bigger , take care ,
Avatar f tn Well I havent gone through menopause yet, but I did see a womens health doctor and she tested all my hormone levels and said I was in pre menopause, I was only 31 at the time, she wanted to start me on hormone replacement therapy, she said it would help with my anxiety so much, I didnt want to start HRT at such a young age, and you always hear about women that get cancer with hormone Replacement so I was scared as well. So here I am still dealing with anxiety.
Avatar m tn Other than whipped cream there are other foods that can cause great harm. One man lived on Mc Donald's hamburgers for a month as a test. At the end of the month he was almost a basket case and eventuslly died from the continuing effects of the hamburgers. A woman who loved chocolates would eat three boxes of cherry filledchocolates every day. Eventually she had what was described as ,"Brain freeze.

Avatar f tn Lil Lady is correct. Progesterone is a hormone supplement, so you have to have a dr's prescription to get it. Why were you thinking about starting it? Did a doctor recommend it?
200220 tn?1361951554 Dr. Lupus: My holistic doctor gave me natural progesterone cream to use to help me stabilize my moods and pick up the free estrogen that is floating in my body. My question to you is it dangerous to use with taking levothyroxine 37.5 with having hashimotor disease. My doctor is an MD also and seem to be very knowledgeable about the thyroid along with helping me with celiac disease. What is your experience with this natural product.
Avatar f tn Took new saliva test and went to new hormone specialist. She changed me to cream (bio-identical also) plus added 4 adrenal food supplements. I have taken the same blood pressure med for 17 years and kept my levels normal. After using the hormone cream and adrenal supplements for three weeks, my blood pressure soared. My doctor took me off the supplements, but my blood pressure was still dangerously high. She doubled my present BP med plus added another med before it would come back down.
1031264 tn?1318524241 t want it clouding my CD21 progesterone test to check if I ovulated - turned out I got pregnant but lost it very early. My hormone doc suggested I take this cycle off TTC and start the cream early from CD6 to build up my progesterone for a month which is what I'm doing. Next month when I go back to TTC I will use it a day or so after I have ovulated and continue that for a few months.
Avatar m tn Is it possible to become addicted to oxytocin nasal sprays? Will my body stop producing as much oxytocin if i start using it? are there any dangers?
Avatar m tn I know from personal experience. Natural testosterone cream reduced my blood sugar, triglyceride and cholesterol levels to a normal range. My depression lifted and my enegry levels increased. When testosterone is converted to DHT and estrogen it can be problematic. But there are safe and effective way to prevent that from happening. I'm not considering testosterone treatment for my baby but I know that an imbalance of hormones can effect the body in many ways, not just sexuality.

Avatar f tn what are the dangers of having a TSH level of 70, my blood was tested yesterday, the doctor said a normal amount is 2.5, 5.
Avatar f tn I was placed on HRT - estrogen and estrogen vagina cream. I was 23 and had a 14 month old baby girl at home and needless to say it was a very difficult time. Reach out to family and friends for support. Baby yourself, rest and try to relax. Look into alternatives to estrogen and dont stop until you find something that works for you. You are still young and have many more years ahead. I'd suggest looking into naturopathy for alternatives.
Avatar n tn I have tried several anti inflammatory medications, ibuprofen, arthritis strength tylenol, naprosyn to name a few, and nothing seems to alleviate my discomfort. A friend suggested I try using progesterone cream ( natural Yam) and I immediately felt relief of my joint pain. Is joint pain an actual symptom of menopause? Is progesterone cream safe to use? The comfort I gain from using the cream seems to wear off toward the end of the day. Can I use it twice a day?
Avatar n tn It sounds like your hormone levels are below normal. Some women who have had this operation forego taking hormones which is understandable because of the dangers that have been publized. To learn more about your problem look up Dr. John Lee on the internet. He has written a few books on Women and their health problems, one of them is : What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause. It is very enlightening and helpful.
Avatar f tn (** If you do go back to your doctor, ask for samples of either the Premrin cream or Estrace cream because I know the cream can be very expensive.) Maybe you are having a reaction to the Premrin cream?? A more complete hormone therapy may be beneficial - it should definitely help with the vaginal dryness. I can give you a lot of information on hormone options and information if you like - just let me know. send me a note or email. Sorry this has been so frustrating for you.
Avatar f tn How is your medication used? Is there an applicator? I can't find too much on why you can't use it, but this mentions that you can't use it with the applicator (I'm assuming it's a plunger-type thing), so that may be part of it). https://www.canesten.co.uk/en/female/products/canesten-thrush-soft-gel-pessary/ https://www.medicinesinpregnancy.
Avatar f tn One additional thought: I don't know if you are taking hormone replacement therapy, but if you are, it might be something to discuss with your doctor. Hormone replacement therapy can raise the risk of an uncommon type of breast cancer fourfold after just three years, U.S. researchers reported in 2010. They found women who took combined estrogen/progestin hormone-replacement therapy for three years or more had four times the usual risk of lobular breast cancer.
Avatar f tn So many women with hypothyroidism, also have PCOS. Myself included. I found progesterone cream and Metformin ER has helped with the PCOS symptoms. Many of us with PCOS have low progesterone levels. Progesterone cream helps to raise levels and it also helps to balance the thyroid. Metformin ER can help with the elevated glucose, insulin, and testosterone levels.
Avatar f tn What r the dangers of my fasting blood sugar being 96-100 daily am 34 weeks pregnant. My post meal numbers have been from 90-120 and 120 when I eat French fries and ice cream. The reason for my question is that I dont feel comfortable taking medications if there is no need but the docs tend to push meds. I am a medical assistant and to my knowledge blood sugars over 100 when fasting tend to be problematic but 100 or less is fine.
Avatar n tn I am seriuosly miserable. I. cannot get enoigh thyroid hormone even though my dosage has been increased. I plan to sue the drug company that made the generic drug I was on.
