Real vanilla works well with some things, etc. I have tons of recipes for smoothies/shakes, using everything from powdered peanut butter to sugar-free jello/pudding mixes. Of course, we know that "sugar-free" isn't necessarily good for us and can derail a diet just as easily as sugar.

I went with veggie & fruit smoothies and used soy milk as it had higher protein content (vs other but mills). But I want to know if anyone else has found out anything else!

Avatar f tn Why not try a protein shake, rather than a milkshake? Try a scoop of vanilla protein powder with 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water, 1 cup frozen fruit chunks... blend and enjoy. Protein will keep you feeling fuller longer and it won't spike your blood sugar like a regular milkshake will do. "I eat protein in the morning and unfortunately sugar in the afternoon and usually veggies at night." Are you eating lunch? If not, you're letting yourself get too hungry.

Avatar f tn I never drink milk!!!! I get my calcium thru fruits, veggies, and chewable supplements! I would maybe try squeezing 1 lemon and honey (raw honey if possible) info fresh cold glass of distilled water. If you don't like honey you can use sugar. Its a fresh homemade lemonade.

Even the ones that specifically say milk free on the label have milk in them. Lactose free usually still has milk poducts in it and typically whey comes from milk. Any one else with a milk allergy on peg/riba who can help me out here? Any suggestions on what to do when I can't eat?
Avatar n tn I got alot of information from The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf, I would definately advise for eggs, just not raw unless you are breeding the chickens yourself because of growth hormones given to chickens cause it to have salmonella. I wouldn't advise milk because milk has animal protein which is very acidic. The best thing to break down acidic foods is calcium. But there is calcium in milk right?
Avatar f tn Omg, I love mother's milk tea. I'm pregnant with baby #2, with my daughter she breastfed for over a year. I would drink mother's milk tea twice a day sometimes 3 with honey. It really help production.
