im suffering with bronchitis I wont take anti boitics cos I always get infections. im nearly better. urine and yeast infections omg I cant stand them!!! ill do any thing to prevent them. I know taking probiotic yogurht and pills help get rid of it.

I had one towards the end of my pregnancy. I bought monistat 3 inserts at walgreens. It started working right away! A home remedy is plain yogurt!

Unfortunately some women are prone to recurrent yeast infections during pregnancy. Unless your doctor has told you specific OTC brands of yeast medication that are safe to use it is NOT adviseable to use OTC remedies as not all of them are safe. You really need to see you obgyn to get a prescription for something that can help knock this out instead of just making it become dormant for a short period of time.

there are no really safe and common home remedies! i just got rid of a yeast infection. you can go to walmart and get a treatment kit for less than 10 bucks. there are tons of websites online for you to read about yeast infections.

A better alternative may be Natural Balance duck/potato, if that is available in Canada, and of course the owners must commit to feeding absolutely nothing else for 6-8 weeks, and treating the secondary skin and ear infections during this time--the diet change will not resolve the infections, but may prevent infection recurrence if the underlying problem is food allergy.

The only thing that started to clear it up was a newer (at the time) pill for vaginal yeast infections. I only got three pills. As soon as they were gone it came back full. Antibiotics, folic acid, acidophilus, yogurt(eating and inserting vaginally) hydrogen peroxide douche, diet change. I think that covers most of the home remedies. Nothing really worked past stopping treatment, the only thing that came close was the hp douche but it just came back again. After some research I found that the vagina needs certain types of bacteria strains which a product called femdophilus has.

Hi there and welcome. Well, I don't know of home remedies for bacterial (key word) vaginosis. Douching will complicate the matter. I didn't find flagyl hard to take or to have side effects such as thrush and whatnot that traditional antibiotics are more associated with. Lots of luck but don't douche!
