home remedies for yeast infection while pregnant

A yeast infection?? I just got over a bladder infection and now have a yeast infection, joy :( really hate going to the doctors unless nessasary, cured them myself before but need to know what is safe for the baby. Any suggestions would be great, please & thankful... oh ya i do have monistate cream left from previous times, is it safe to use??

I have greenish discharge comming from my vagina and it also can be watery sometimes. There is a chance i could be pregnant but a test hasnt told me yet.

Only bad part was the medicine is known for causing a yeast infection after words so I was treated for that as well.

I had one towards the end of my pregnancy. I bought monistat 3 inserts at walgreens. It started working right away! A home remedy is plain yogurt!

I will of course eat yogurt and drink cranberry juice while I take them. However, that never really helps me prevent a yeast infection. So any ideas for after the fact?

there are no really safe and common home remedies! i just got rid of a yeast infection. you can go to walmart and get a treatment kit for less than 10 bucks. there are tons of websites online for you to read about yeast infections.

Is there any home remedies that are safe in pregnancy to get rid of a yeast infection? I have already had it twice ans took that one day pill form of it. Just found out its listed as category c so that kind of annoyed me how my dr just acted like it was completely safe. What is ok to take for a yeast infection? I don't go to the Dr. Til Tuesday. I heard the one time fluconazole pill cause birth defects. Don't know how true it is just wanna be safe. I don't know about any home remedies. There is an oral pill that you can take (only if you're not pregnant) but I believe it is a prescription.

I would treat it myself though with home remedies. ..but im 38 weeks pregnant close to 39 and ide rather just kill the source of it then for it to keep comeing back. If you have a yeast infection the doc told me that Monstat is good to use while pregnant but I would have it checked out by the doc 1st b/c that's what I thought I had 2 & it wasn't that. I had Bacterial Vaginouses. Don't ask what that is I have no clue. I get the weirdest things down below. I am always getting UTI's and I was tested positive for the Group B Strep too. I've never used while being PREGNANT.... but recently I got a yeast Infection from the increased amount of discharge due to pregnancy and MY OB/GYN prescribed a medicine that is 3 day regimen and work GREAT, the name is TERCONAZOLE Vaginal Cream. I was also prescribed this 3day regimen medicine for yeast infection for my first pregnancy which was from another OB/GYN. BEST OF LUCK, I HOPE I'M NOT RESPONDING LATE TO YOUR QUESTION.
