2011837 tn?1343797528 Hi, i haven't been on here in a while because I was put through alotttttttttttttt these past months. Im now 7months pregnant, almost 8. I'm 18 years old but still living with my mother. She isnt stable herself.. we were supposed to relocate to Greenville, SC but that didn't work out. 590310 tn?1273871747 I was wondering if it is normal for you to have a MRI after a major episode. My dr has not said anything about it but wouldn't you guys think that one would be needed? I would feel better knowing where I am as far as progression. Also the numbness that I had on the right side of my face has now turned into pain. The pain is not all of the time but sometimes it is intense and my hands hurt.

1193998 tn?1265117597 Thanks again! You've given me tons of invaluable info with which to prepare for dealing with getting diagnosed. I'm not familiar with the doctors listed for Toledo, but hopefully my PCP will know. Greenville is a bit of a haul from Florence, but I have family in that area (actually all over North Carolina) so it wouldn't be hard to coordinate an appointment with a visit to my cousins, aunts, uncles, sister or mother.
429779 tn?1207785920 Hi I am a Patient Care Tech in Greenville, SC I work for an agency called Community Long Term Care. This program would be great for your mother. I would call your local NC Department of health and human service to see if they have a simular program. The service that I provide is helping my clients with adult daily living such as bathing, cleaning, cooking, and just being there friend, etc... This program also provides frozen meals delivered every week.. it's not meals on wheels...

Avatar m tn Factors that raise the risk are recent HIV infection (within 3 months), advanced HIV disease, STDS (especially genital HSV-2) in either partner, and if the male partner is uncircumcised. Things that reduce it are for the infected person to be taking anti-HIV drugs, to have a relatively healthy immune system, and to have a low HIV viral load (i.e., not much virus in the blood) -- and, of course, consistent condom use.
