Common Questions and Answers about Hiv san francisco
I ended up driving from Santa Cruz to SanFrancisco about a week ago. I wanted to go to a better clinic where I would be able to get more helpand support from my unprotected anal sex exposure. I tested with an antibody test and they also took 2 tubes of blood used for a so-called RNA test. The counselor told me that this test looks for the virus itself and has a shorter window period. Is this test approved? valid along with my 3 month neg antibody test?
On April 25 after a night of heavy drinking, I picked up an african american streetwalker in SanFrancisco. We had unprotected vaginal sex for 10 min. Now 2 weeks later i'm experiencing night sweats and feel sick. I'm sure this is initial infection. It's not the first time i've been in this position, but now I'm afraid i went to the well one too many times.

SANFRANCISCO — A group seeking to ban the circumcision of male children in San Francisco has succeeded in getting their controversial measure on the November ballot, meaning voters will be asked to weigh in on what until now has been a private family matter.

(CBS) -- The city that may soon outlaw toys in McDonald's Happy Meals could have a measure banning circumcision on next November's ballot, reports CBS San Francisco.
"It's genital mutilation," said Lloyd Schofield, the author of a San Francisco ballot measure that would make it a "misdemeanor to circumcise, excise, cut or mutilate the...genitals" of a person under 18.
Baby boys in San Francisco may be relieved but not everybody agrees with a proposed ban.

They all agree in theory HIV transmission is possible with the right elements such as blood in the mouth of the giver.
Also, I think that HIV education needs to wake up about one thing: circumcized men are in the MINORITY worldwide. Even in the United States, there is a substantial minority of uncircumsized men. Let's not forget that.
An interesting boost to the notion that as many people as possible should be tested for HIV so that they can discuss treatment possibilities was presented at the 17th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (abstract 33).
1) The dancer was nude and during a lap dance she rubber her vagina over my stomach (she lifted my shirt for say 1 minute), I have few small scratches there.
2) dancer licked my ear and I have an open wound (not bleeding) there and have applied some steroid cream. What if there were some traces of blood in her saliva
What is my Risk of HIV from both these exposure. Please help me. Do I need testing?
I have not done any blood work (stupid I know and ashamed to admit) and last urine analysis done was November 2016- negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I am a white heterosexual female living in the San Francisco area , age 33. I always practice safe sex and use a condom religiously. Not aware of any condoms breaking. No symptoms really of any irregular discharge, bumps, etc. All my partners were white straight men from middle class backgrounds .
I thought about getting the DNA PCR test, but it says to wait 28 days after exposure to be sure. Is this the same as the RNA test? I also read that SanFrancisco is giving the RNA tests after 10 days of exposure. (unfortunately I don't live near San Francisco)
Am I had high risk for HIV if he has it?
