SO I tested at 3 days after the comp and 5 and 1/2 weeks (5th November) with the HIV - NON COMMERCIAL (HIR-0) HIV 1 and HIV 2 ab/ag test which both came back negative. Is the test I received the 4th Generation DUO/Combo test?

It can effect health of baby if you were RH negative and your baby's father was RH positive.
At the time you were tested (2 months), 98-99% of people would have already tested positive for the virus. I think, however, because you are certain your partner is HIV positive, it is best to do a confirmatory test at the 3 month mark following your last exposure. If you did a test at 2 months, it's EXTREMELY EXTREMELY unlikely your result will change, but just to be completley safe, I suggest you do one.

I was informed by my doctor that I tested positive on the 1st HIV test but inconclusive on the second. What does this mean. I really have no reason to test positive. Not sure what you're asking. Once a person is HIV+, they will always be positive. A positive person who has unprotected intercourse with ANYONE, pregnant or not...can infect that person.
Having unprotected sex with a positive person is always a risk, but will not DEFINITELY result in that person getting infected.
