Will there ever be a cure for genital herpes,cause i think the last post i straight up BS.What if the 48day past and you found out couple months later you have herpes..How are hey going to cure that.
Did they find any cure or vaccine to prevent hiv?
Guess? Don't believe in anything unless an HIV cure really has been discovered and medically proven by a recognised health body.

There is no practical information on vaccines as of yet, PReP and PeP and now PiP seem to be the best cure out there

Thanks people, it was like three months, then I got tested. Ive been looking into hiv, and it seems scientists are so close to the cure. It looks promising, they think they'll have it done within 5yrs. Sounds good, but I won't get my hopes too high. I realize having hiv is more like a disability rather than a death sentence. Ill keep my head up, I have no choice. Thanks again.
It depends on what level of testing they are at. I am sure they are moving quite quickly, as the issue has become endemic. Additionally, advances in medicine are making significant strides as of late. There is now a patent on a cure for HIV.... I can't remember the patent number, but it's waiting to be tested and will likely be available sooner than later. If they can solve HIV, they should certainly be able to tackle herpes.
s surprise, it never rose, not at all. It has now been close to two years since the transplant, and there are still no traces of HIV in the patient's blood or brain tissues. So: success! A cure! For this guy, at least.

Respectfully understood,. The risk is very high, but the story brings a smile with much hope a cure maybe close. The fluke like information opened the door of understanding the disease. Or, should I say, an "ah" awakening look at possibilities? It may not seem hopeful to you which is understood.
so on september 22 i went for std check and also for a repaid hiv test. the hiv test came out negative but i ws asked to come back in 4-6 weeks. a week later i got a call from my doc that i was tested positive for chlamydia in my throat and i was given medication. 2 weeks later i m feeling much better..my question is that i m still worried about hiv. the nurse told me that there really good chances tht a second test will be negative too. but i m very worried.
m coininfected with hepatitis B , i hve been taking TDF all this while , viral load of hiv and DNA of hbv has been und just the first 6 months of treatment and my cd4 has always been 600 , A friend advice me to add one supllement ( BOOST) with my TDF made of white honey and other ingredients fabricated by one naturopathic center here in Cameroon , before taking this supplement i test for hiv antibodies and they were 3500 , after one month it drops down to 2300 ,3 months it drops again to 800 ,
A few people in my grade 6 class had this problem and it was ever since my class had bought a new projector to use. I was wondering if there is any cure besides glasses/ contacts/ surgery that could fix my eyes permanently?
