if male to female insertive vaginal sex is 1 - 500 or 1 - 200 or whatever assuming female is hiv+ and male does not.... and assuming unprotected sex occured... how is it that 35 million people worldwide have hiv/aids..... just wondering.. wouldnt you think the number would be much lower.. because 1 outa of every 200 exposures isnt high at all yet 35 million people have hiv. ..........

You never had a risk of contracting HIV. Oral sex does not transmit HIV. See your doctor if you are concerned about your signs and symptoms, they have nothing to do with HIV.

HIV education is vital....and in this day and age, not ONE more person should be getting infected. It is completely avoidable. The CDC is a very conservative agency, they are not going to say something is impossible, due to liabilty reasons. If oral sex was TRULY a risk, there would be new infections diagnosed daily from oral, and almost everyone would be infected. The FACTS are, there aren't even statistical figures about oral sex leading to infection.

Many people who have been infected with HIV have few or no HIV symptoms, HIV testing is the only way to know for sure if you are infected or not. As for your question, yes people infected with the virus can go years before any symptoms show up.
