I'm not an idiot. I know all the statistics and I'm not scared of people with HIV or AIDS. I actually work in a population where it's very possible for anyone of my clients to be diagnosed with it. Maybe you and nvmybeauty should think before you jump to conclusions like you did. Because I didn't know what peripheral neuropathy was I thought maybe it was caused by the AIDS. I recieved unprotected oral sex with a female CSW a month ago- status unknown, I am very anxious about this encounter
I ejaculated in her mouth.. If she was HIV positive what is my potential risk.
Vaginal sex was protected with condom.

Oral sex is "theoretically" a sincerely low risk; however, the risk is so close to zero that it cannot be calculated. This doesn't mean to go enjoy oral sex with someone bleeding from the gums while massaging your genitals with a cheese grater, but you shouldn't be too concerned. You describe a low risk exposure, except that you don't mention one potentially significant factor -- your and your partner's race/ethnicity. The rate of HIV is far higher in African Americans than in whites or persons of other race/ethnicities in the US. The low rate of AIDS in your geographic area should indeed be reassuring -- but the statistics you quote deserve some caution.

You mention: If ARS were to occur it would most typically show at 2-3 weeks following exposure and perhaps, rarely as far out as 6 weeks. Beyond that ARS would not be expected to occur. You also write: All who suffer ARS have their symptoms ressolve.
My last and final question is: After ARS resolves, when do most who are infected realize that they have some unusual health problems taking place. I think I have read that somewhere around 10 yrs.
There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".

HIV is an infection. ARC and AIDS are the symptomatic breakdown of the immune system as a result of HIV (the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and the AIDS Related Complex.) Cytomegalovirus (HHV) and some of the other things that go along with AIDS can mimic MS when present in the brain.
I guess I can say this as a 49 year old gay man, but "Why are you worried since we all know to play safe?" I am of that generation that watched huge portions of the gay population "die off.

Not worried about HIV anymore I have come to realise that the main factor for most people with fears of HIV infection is guilt. As is mine. I am going to get councelling to fix my issues. I have a bad problem with alcohol and it would seem that everytime I drink I get very horny and I will do anything to fix my sexual cravings.
Well my test at 4 days post exposure was negative even though I would say I have had a number of risks over the years.
Health authorities everywhere classify oral sex as a "low risk" activity. It is in actuality an academic approach. Purely theoritical. In the history of HIV/AIDS, spread over three decades, there is no proven evidence that someone acquired the infection through oral sex alone.
What has been gathered through experience, statistics and records, HIV is tranmitted though

Every state collects data for HIV/AIDS, so just google your state and HIV statistics and you can find yours. Other countries collect data as well.
After the needle stick I did notice a small amount of blood on my finger, in which i applied alchohol and washed with soap and water, From some of the websites I have visited I noticed that if stuck with a needle from a known HIV patient that the chances of infection is at 0.03%, There is no known diagnosis of whether this person is HIV positive or not, my gut feeling says she is not but I know you can never be sure.

Even more so when I found statistics for Washington ST, stating that there have been more than 15,000 HIV/AIDS cases recorded in Washington and about 3,000 people on average that have HIV and don’t know it. Some other symptoms like diarrhea have been present but no fever. I do not have a history of rashes and to my knowledge I am not allergic to anything. I'm nervous about getting tested, should this be a cause for concern?

Understand your predicament. As there was no mixing of body fluids it's unlikely that you may have developed HIV infection. Persisting throat infection could be due to other causes like post nasal drip or tonsillitis. But if you are in doubt, have yourself evaluated for HIV, it will help clear your worries.
