Hi everyone,
I wanted to run something by all of you. There is a massage therapist I'd been going to for years. He gives a great massage, but also provides some "extras." Is it possible for a person to never develop antibodies to HIV and thus be HIV+ but test negative on an antibody test? I know about the window period so I dont mean that time period, this is a more long term question. I think the way to describe it would be an HIV+ Carrier that repeatedly will test neg on the antibody test.
What I'm most concerned is whether there's still a possibility to contract HIV even all the major risk factors are not present. Sometimes I read from the internet there have been cases in which people caught HIV with no reasons behind (or at least a reason no one would ever bother to remember), but I wonder whether this is true or just a hoax.
As I read through the statistics there is always a small proportion of new infections with unidentifiable causes. What does that mean?

The more you trawl the internet the more that you will find misguided, misleading and downright wrong information. What you choose to believe is up to you but science simply doesn't lie.
I think those Chinese gender tests are a hoax. It said I concieved in august.. it's not even august yet and said I was 26. I'm twenty 23 And concieved in march.

No factors you describe can interfere in your HIV antibody test. Hence, your HIV test at this juncture has been very indicative. I can comment on the other STIs, you might want to take that to the STI forum. A 3 months test will be conclusive for you. A 6 week negative changing ahead is very unlikely though.
