Is the doctor patient confidentiality ABSOLUTE? would he/she be legally, morally, and/or ethically required or able to call my prescribing dr to tell him that I'm abusing my meds and taking xtras? Yes of course eventually I want them to be gone, but first I need to eliminate the xtras, then I can work on my own scripts.

You have no choice but to have an HIV test. Just do it. It is the only way you're going to start to get beyond your fear of it. I will have no other comments on this thread unless and until you return to report your HIV test result. It will be negatove.

Since it was dark and you are unsure regarding the usage of condom, you should get tested for HIV and other STD’s. HIV testing is done with a blood test and is done in full confidentiality. The blood is first tested by ELISA test which is a screening test which looks for antibodies in the blood. Then if it is positive then Western blot test is done to look for specific proteins of HIV.
