You'll find your balance where you can feel good. Lots of protein bars and dry cereals have high protein and I consume a lot of those!

They concluded that high protein did not cause kidney disease, and neither did it cause most kidney disease to deteriorate.. I will post the link if I can find it again. Are shakes and water all you plan to consume? If so, that's not good or sustainable. In addition, weight lost too and not in a healthy manner will most likely be regained as soon as you start eating normally again, even if maintaining a healthy diet.

Avcados are good most nuts are high in fat. Just try to eat about five smaller meals. I am my fifth week, go for my 4week results tomorrow. One client I took care of had to eat 10 grams of protein every hour, but carried to term and went into labor herself having a healthy baby. Most won't have to eat that much, but you do have to get a lot more protein than normal to make up (200 grams per day is normally a good goal if preeclampsia is already starting).
Avatar f tn I haven't heard that before but thanks for the tip Kolina24. This will be our last baby as I have a 90% chance of developing it again due to the damage to my kidneys and liver now. I get preeclamplsia because I don't grow very good placentas so baby doesn't get enough nutrition and oxygen, placing pressure on my liver, which leads to my kidneys leaking protein, which all gives the side effect of the high bp.

Normally I don't eat meat every day, so I would be lucky to get 20 grams... I can't eat peanuts, beans, soy, or pork. Eggs make me throw up right now (I used to really like them). Any ideas for how I can get closer to 100 grams of protein in a day? I'm making an effort to eat meat more, but I'm not that used to it and it isn't sitting well.
