Hello, I am looking for my second opinion and trying to find a specialist anywhere near DC, or Northern VA. I was diagnosed with a "small chiari" in 2008 and never had trouble with it until recently some symptoms started and a "small syrinx" was found. Neurosurgeon recommending decompression surgery but I want a second opinion before I make the final decision.

The surgery for flat feet is not relatively easy. One needs to learn with this and cope up best and try to adjust with the activities of daily living. Have faith and trust in the doctor. The results would be evident.
This is for my daughter who is frustrated beca both surgeons she consulted insist the cyst has nothing to do with the horrible headaches she has been having for almost a year, she has a baby and Five year old and needs to stay in her area if at all possible. She lives in Northern Virginia. She needs to consult with a surgeon who believes her. Thank you for ny help you can provide.

Am seeking LLMD in Northern Virginia to help my daughter - she was diagnosed with Lyme ~ 2 years ago and was treated with Doxy for several months because she was preparing for her wedding and did not want IV treatment. She improved but is having problems again, and now seems unable to tolerate Doxy (she had no issues with it in her prior treatment). She is concerned about having kids since she would like to get pregnant one day but has read much about it transferring via utero/breast milk.

We hope you will stay and get and give help to others. I was on Oxycontin for many years before finding this site and using the advice I found here to get clean. Many others have also.
Can anyone recommend a LLD around Northern Virginia? I'm currently being seen by an infectious diseases doctor, but she is on the fence when it comes to treating Lymes. She doesn't believe in some of the treatments accepted by most LLDs. She is giving me Rosephin now, but will probably only give it to me for a total of 8 weeks. I'm also on Vancomiacin (sp) to treat an additional infection I got from the Picc line ( I read this is good for treating Lyme's as well??).
Does anyone know of a doctor in the state of Virginia that may be willing to help me with the fight against the dragon.Having worked out my treatment in another state I have resently had to move back to a more calming lifestyle in my home state where I have friends and family willing to help me while going through the treatments as my previous wife was not willing as it enterfered with her life and lifestyle.
