19th which is a week away and couldnt get in sooner however since I have a reductable hernia and no cause for emergancy surgery at this time how can I stay as comftable as possable until appt? and now exsprencing almost constant pain in lower back thatg travels to middle back,,more frequent adomenal pain,my sides hurt now,and Im feeling pressure in pelvic,should I go to E.R.since I was already there and told I was fine and would be ok?
After breast feeding my cycle continued and the lump came back mid cycle. I have seen a hernia specialist who has never seen a hernia that was related to an ovulation cycle. He suggested a cat scan when the lump persist. It is random when it shows up. On an evening that it has been present but in remission (it was there 15b minutes ago) I cannot get it to show up again. I push, pull , bend, squat, you name it. It has no consistency except that it is always mid cycle.
I've been having problems for the last two years pretty bad, seemingly random symptoms that didn't fit anything.
I finally found a good doctor that is not hesitant to refer me to whomever else may be of help. I am very thankful, but a bit depressed that although I finally know what's going on, there are no options for me.
On my CT scan, they identified one supra umbilical ventral hernia, a para midline hernia, very large spaced diastasis recti and retrocardiac hiatal hernia..

I have a rare muscle(s) tear called a lumbar hernia. Only 300 ppl in the world have this condition, mine was caused by a seat-belt. The term Lumbar is deceiving and most ppl have never hear of this. The tear is actually from mid-line abd and extends into the lumbar area of the back, not the spine. I chose the only option presented to me at the time, surgical correction. This means I had a huge piece of mesh inserted that basically cover my entire right side and into the back.
I have been having chest pains for over a year. Mid chest pain sometimes in neck & ears too. Never after eating or any heartburn. My PCP had me do all the heart tests. All neg. after an endoscopy, ultrasound & HIDA scan, I have Barrett’s esophagus, hiatal hernia, gallstones & an EF rate of 7%. My only symptom is the chest pain that lasts about 10 min. Sometimes 2-3 times a week or a week or two in between.

Many years ago I had a hernia repair with sutures. This did not hold and in 2007 I once again had the abdominal hernia repaired, but this time Mesh was use. My hernia was quite large. And my doctor described my mucsles as swiss cheese. There were quite a few holes, with the biggest one being the size of a baseball. I am in my mid 40's and I am a bit overweight. Since my surgery I have gained about 10-13 pounds.
Last week the hernia sight began to hurt. Not a sharp pain, but dull.
I am a relatively healthy 22 year old female (despite hypothyroidism and celiac disase). Over the past few month I have been waking up during the night and having pain in my mid to upper abdomen whenever I take a deep breath in (occasionally it hits my lower abdomen as well). I have also noticed incerased frequency of urination during the night hours only. After emptying my bladder and getting back into bed the pain seems to subside.

t bad enough, the acid made her voice hoarse so talking the people through the class was a challenge. She had the TIF incisionless surgery back in April 2009 because she had to keep upping her Nexium. She says she doesn't have any reflux problems at all now. I am!!! Well I'm supposly due the 29th but the dr said I most likely won't go the whole 40wks plus I'm hopin to have the little one on the 19th because that's the day I lost my mother, I'd be nice to have good memory to replace the bad. So I'm guessing u still don't know what ur having!
Nope, no diabetes, just idopathic gastroparesis. My pain is in the sternum area of my chest, nausea symptoms, almost constant burning and yet I have no scar tissue. My brother and I had our gall bladders removed due to biliary dyskinesia; our gall bladders just were not functioning. My brother had a gall bladder test performed when he had his last gastric emptying test to see if there were any bile blockages post surgery but there were none.
I was diagnosed with and had a Spigelian hernia repaired five and a half years ago when I was 26. Since the surgery, I have had pain on my left side (around the area of the repair). The surgeon placed four permanent sutures to the mesh to hold it in place until it established itself. He mentioned he usually attached this to fat, but I did not have enough fat for him to do this. This was his first Spigelian surgery.

The common causes for testicular pain are injury, infection and torsion. Injury can cause a tear of the testicular layers or it can cause a hematoma (blood collection). Infection can affect and cause epididymitis or orchitis resulting in pain. Testicular torsion is an emergency as the blood supply may be compromised and needs to be relieved. Sometimes a tumor of the testis can cause pain. Consult your primary care physician for therapy.
I had a left inguinal hernia repaired via the open mesh procedure in December, 2009. I had post-operative pain that was significant starting in the recovery room. Doc had implanted a disposable pain pump device that was supposed to continuously infuse lidocaine via a catheter for a few days to relieve any discomfort. Was sent home from the hospital with a some lortab tablets for pain as well. That night, the lidocaine infuser failed and I was in terrible agony. The lortab pills did nothing.
