Ladies that have premature babies I honestly salute you that is such an amazing yet scary expiercence. I thank god every day that my daughter stays in there another day. My friend recently just had her baby at 34 weeks and I just find it so crazy because I'm 34 weeks and I can't imagine my baby being born yet!
Avatar n tn I am a 25 year old female with a recent occurence of nausea, vomiting, pressure in stomach, premature fullness at meals, tenderness in urq upon pressure.I have lost a total of 15+ pounds so far. I for 4-6 weeks I was vomiting at least one time a week and now its every other week or so.
Avatar m tn In 2nd baby it is 4mm PDA even after 5 days ibrufen medicine there is no reduction in size. Forunately both the babies are active taking almost 15ml milk feed. My concern is do we require any surgery to close this PDA. Also both the babies has diagnoised with muscular VSD, for which dr. mentioned it will close by itself.
Avatar f tn I was wondering what are the chances that you might actually get into labour at 32 weeks? And moms who actually gave birth to premature babies, did u have the feeling or that maternal instinct where ur feeling strongly tells you your baby is coming earlier than expected? Im almost 30wks,due 4th April but i have this irritating feeling where i feel like my baby is going to come out early.my mom gave birth to me prematured where her water just broke and went to labour.
Avatar f tn Also I'd like to know if there is anything special that I should have for a premature baby, one of those motion sensitive monitors? I'd like to breast feed, should I invest in buying a pump? Any thing at all that will help me take care of a premie when I am able to take him home?
Avatar f tn Is premature birth genetic or does it just depends on how your body deals with the pregnancy and everything? I was 4 days premature, my little brother was 6 weeks premature and my babies father was 5 weeks.

Avatar f tn Yes, I think a hernia can go into the scrotum. Hernia pain can also come and go. https://www.urologyhealth.
4981292 tn?1381256805 My son was born premature. The way they explained it to me is: for example when he was technically 3months old they said he was 1.5months. So if he didn't meet the normal 3month milestones it was because he was early. They counted the months based on when his due date actually was. They only did that till he caught up which didn't take too terribly long but they wanted to assure me that he was on track.
504000 tn?1242500793 hi girls, my baby is 2 weeks old and finally after seeing 3 doctors for a small lump on my babies side they say its a hernia. im so nervous i am seeing a specialist tomorrow. has anyone been through this? and if so did they have to do surgery or did the baby grow out of it. Avatar m tn I have had heart arrhythmia for years. It comes and goes. I only have a problem with this when my stomack is bothering me. I have acid reflux bad. This only happens when I lay down or sit leaning over. I have had stress test EKG's scopes and the only thing they can find is a small hiatal hernia. I feel my stomack or the hiatal hernia is causing my heart arrhythmia. I've not talked to anyone that has my same problem. My question is does anyone else have this problem?
Avatar m tn Hello and hope you are doing well. The common causes for testicular pain are injury, infection and torsion. Injury can cause a tear of the testicular layers or it can cause a hematoma (blood collection). Infection can affect and cause epididymitis or orchitis resulting in pain. Testicular torsion is an emergency as the blood supply may be compromised and needs to be relieved. Sometimes a tumor of the testis can cause pain. Consult your primary care physician for therapy.
566175 tn?1278430472 They cut out a small piece of her bowel and put in a temporary drainage bag (stoma bag) and will go back in for surgery (in 4-6 weeks) to reconnect her bowel to her colon. By then everything should be able to work fine (her tummy.) It's pretty scary having surgery done on a 2.5 pound baby but she's expected to make a full recovery and should be home in 6 weeks or so. I've posted pics on my profile.
Avatar f tn My Gynecologist thinks I have a hernia. I have a CT scheduled for Friday and a follow up on Tuesday to discuss results and the plan. It's looking like, either way, I'm having another surgery. If it's not a hernia and nothing else alarming shows up, they will assume it's scar tissue and likely to a laparscopy to look for and break up scar tissue/adhesions. Anyone out there have a hernia after surgery?
