Avatar n tn //www.myplasticsurgeryinmexico.com/ and see the difference. Their medical packages already includes the whole medical procedure, accommodation, and food.
Avatar m tn The place in North Carolina comes to about $6300 before travel expenses. The doctor in Mexico is going to be about $3000 for the surgery, and about $800 for travel. If you haven't had your surgery by the time I get mine, I'll keep you updated about my experience, if you'd like.

Avatar f tn Hello, I used to have extreme pain in the left lower abdomen area (groin area), which was the result of a hernia. I had surgery in July and that took all the pain away. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago, the same exact pain came back. For the past few days, Ive had extreme sharp pain in the same area. I went to the surgeon who fixed my hernia, and she proclaimed that "there is no way the pain is from the hernia".
942162 tn?1245428214 The risks of a diaphragmatic hernia depend on the size of the hernia. If it's large, chances are internal organs will eventually find their way through the hole and become strangulated, leading to emergency surgery to save the pet's life. If it's small, the pet can go its entire life and live a normal number of years and never have a problem with it. I don't know why it would cost thousands of dollars to repair, however.
Avatar f tn The cost is 3,800 dollars plus meds. I spent about 1,300 dollars on meds. The name of the clinic is GYRA de puebla. I did get BFP after my first ivf but my numbers are going down. The numbers going down is not the fault of the doctor. They were at 166 14 dpt. The hotels here are about 40 to 50 a night for two.
Avatar n tn After doing a lot of research and asking a lot of questions, my husband and I have decided to go to Dr. Perez at Rio Bravo in Mexico. The cost is about half of what it would be here in the states. If I were going to have it here, I would go to Dr. Berger in North Carolina. The staff in Mexico is really easy to work with and, from all the reviews I've read, the doctor is really wonderful. Please write me if you have questions...
Avatar m tn Does anyone know of IVF clinics in Prague or Mexico? I am looking for a cheap IVF treatment overseas.
1169557 tn?1263270893 My mother had the gastric bypass surgery about 3 years ago. The operation went horribly wrong and she almost died on the operation table. Fortunately she was able to make it through (barely) and faught for her life. She was in hospital for weeks until she was sent home. Even when she was sent home she was on bed rest with a feeding tube and cathater attatched.
Avatar f tn I think that the kind of hernia surgery you are looking at it is a relatively simple surgery, as far as surgery goes. I don't think the dog will have to be put under deep anaesthesia, the procedure is something that is done close to the surface, and it is a fairly quick operation. I would expect a healthy dog to recover well. Your boy might have some activity restrictions while he is recovering, to keep him from pulling the stitches loose and undoing the procedure.
Avatar f tn The tumor is in the area of the margin of the hernia, surrounded by scar tissue. This was all due to an exploratory surgery that discovered and repaired a torsion and necrosis of part of the small bowel. He has adamantly refused further surgery for either hernia repair or cancer resection because of several life threatening complications after the original surgery. He has done nothing to treat the cancer other than adjust his diet (described later).
Avatar m tn t have US health insurance you will need to pay the cost yourself. The cost of a liver biopsy can range from $1,500.00 to. $2,000.00. * Find out how extensive your liver disease is by having a liver biopsy. * If little damage, wait and treat with treatments that will be available in the next 2-3 years when the drugs will be approved my FDA and available in the U.S. (I have no idea when the treatments will be available in Mexico). I hope this helps.
Avatar f tn They are constantly asking him for money they live in mexico and he recently sent them $1500 for his brothers surgery which I had no choice but to understand the situation, now they want $500 for something else! Im 19 weeks pregnant and yes we have money saved but eventually I wont be able to work anymore and will have to rely on my hubbys income for everything! He says everything will be fine blah blah, but he thinks bringing a baby into the world is like not a big deal...
Avatar n tn I haven't been to the dentist in years, but the last time I went I was told I needed my wisdom teeth out. I didn't even consider it because I heard it costs thousands and I had/have no insurance. Since then I have had 2 chipped teeth (1 bicuspid, 1 1st molar) that seem to be a result of crowding due to 3rd molar eruptions. I have taken pain killers almost daily for weeks and I know that is unhealthy so I'm starting to get concerned.
494961 tn?1250742077 Yes, your symptoms could be caused by a hiatal hernia. I also suffered from this until fundoplication surgery (which has opened up a Pandora's box of other syptoms).
Avatar f tn My vet charges a hundred dollars for spaying but I think it can be done much less expensively (there are a lot of spay-neuter coupons from humane organizations and other resources) and stitching up an opening that lets a hernia protrude can happen at that time for no added cost. So if you can wait until the kitten is ready to spay, you will be ahead financially. But you don't want her to have to have emergency surgery for a necrotic intestine in the meantime. So let the vet see it.
Avatar m tn Is this a result of surgery, the accident or both. I don’t understand how a car accident can cause a hernia.
Avatar n tn My husband had the surgery many years ago and he did just fine. You will have to take it easy for awhile though. Depending on how extensive the hernia is, I would'nt be too surprised if they do the surgery out patient. Of course you'll receive pains meds and the Dr will send you home with a script for pain meds.
