i was also wondering if the anasthesia price is included in the surgery price, or if its separate. also, i would like to know generally what the costs are for ambulance rides, ER room visits, casting, (anasthesia), and the cost per day for hospital care. thank you so much!

I just saw this post, but when you factor in the cost of the flight and the operation how low are we really talking about? There are some places here that do the same thing here, do not except Ins. According to them it is a way to keep there costs down?? I found some online for my mother, one is called No Ins. Surgery in Las Vegas someone said online they paid $5000. for a hernia repair.

Years later I noticed my stomic is geting larger and larger and it is very hard, I was told i need two doctors one for the hernia and the other for the diastasis abd wall. But can find no source for it in the Philippines. Not in Cebu, not in Manila. I have a pharmacy in Canada that can provide it, but it has to be shipped in ice and can take 5 days to arrive. Fed Ex won't take it. Neither will UPS. Have to use Canada Post which "promises" 4 days. But if it gets stalled in customs, it will lose its potency. Can't find in Hong Kong or Singapore either. My mother had the gastric bypass surgery about 3 years ago. The operation went horribly wrong and she almost died on the operation table. Fortunately she was able to make it through (barely) and faught for her life. She was in hospital for weeks until she was sent home.
