Avatar f tn Yes, I think its your period, I was bleeding for 6 weeks, then stopped for 3 days and started bleeding again, my Dr said it could be my period, for u having bleeding 3 weeks after it stopped its your period probably, especially when u r not exclusively breastfeeding, with my first I had my period at 6 months postpartum when I introduced solids, does it feel like your normal period?
Avatar n tn I had a c- section About 5 months ago and My period since then has gone about a month each time. there has only been 2 weeks between Feb and July that haven't been bleeding , its extremely heavy, clotting, and soak about 2 pads an hour. Every time I go to the doctor I am not bleeding an he can't see what I am talking about.
Avatar n tn doctors says, to avoid of getting pregnant first 6 weeks after c-section.
Avatar n tn Have any you experienced pain after c-section - I'm talking about TWO YEARS later. My child will be 2 later this month. I was in constant pain, esp. at the incision site on the left side, for the first 6 mos, my ob thought it might be a internal suture that didn't disolve. The pain went away but then came back big time more than a year later. I've had several sonograms and an MRI - my ob is stumped.
Avatar n tn I had a c-section 15 months ago and even this long after I an having pain from it. It is not like fresh surgery pain, it feels more like I am going to split open from the inside. It happens when I lift things and when I am having to hold something with my arms held out. It is really quite painful and I dont know why this is happening to me. I think I might have been sewn up crooked or something.
Avatar f tn Also read that many women have trouble with there periods after like heavy bleeding , spotting threw out the month? These things r making me lean against the procedure and the thought of a possible tubal pregnancy scares. Me! Has anyone had this done at same time of a c-section and if so what's your experience?
Avatar f tn I'm sitting here feeling dizzy right now. My little girl, delivered via c-section is now 11 weeks old. I didn't feel this way after the first child. I haven't really talked to my doc much about it. I did stop taking the mini-pill b/c of it, but that hasn't helped. I also take synthroid for hypothyroidism, but he just retested my levels and said they were normal. At least I know I'm not the only one feeling this way.
Avatar n tn I have had the same pain, in my lower right side, after my c-section 6 years ago. It comes and goes but it feels like a sharp pain if I turn to fast to get up, etc..mostly around my period. Was better when on birth control. Now I am pregnant again, 4 months and the pain is very severe. It also radiates across my entire lower stomach. I am also getting bad back pain to the point where I can't sleep.
1416390 tn?1333905204 I had a c section 20 mos ago. since then my periods have been really heavy and there is always a day I seem to gush blood. Well- my period came a week early this month and last night I seemed to have passed a lot of blood- that seemed really red. Now that I am up it does not seem to be flowing so strong. I don't have any pain- slight cramping. I am not sure whether I should go to the ER or not- hate to go if it is just my period! Just seems odd there was so, so much.
Avatar f tn As others on here have told you, it would be dangerous for you to get pregnant so soon after a C-section. There is a chance that you will lose that baby too and your heart will be broken again. And not to mention it's dangerous on your life. Getting pregnant right now won't take away the pain of losing your precious little baby. Some therapy and time is the only thing that can heal you. You need to give yourself at least a year to ttc again.

Avatar n tn They have been irregular since i had my last baby and I had tubal ligation done at the same time as it was my 4th c-section, that was 2 yrs. ago. I'm 28yrs. old, and my period has been so heavy since i started it yesterday. I have gone through a full pack of sanitary towels, and this morning when i stood up out of bed I could feel it coming away from me, so much that it soaked through 2 pads I had on and went down my legs and trailed on the floor till I got to the bathroom.
Avatar n tn I delivered all other children expect the last one vaginally and they had to do an emergency C-Section with the last one. My periods before I was pregnant last exactly 7 days with one heavy day and the rest light bleeding. I am anemic and take my iron pills everyday without fail as I am breastfeeding and don't want to have any other problems. I have never missed a day without taking them. Any suggestions?

224256 tn?1212260623 Talk to your Dr. but mine were heavy after my boys, my regular periods go longer than 13 days many times & clot, so it would be normal for me, but maybe not for you. I did notice my cycle changed some after my second baby. Hope you feel better soon. The first few periods after baby seem to be the worst.
Avatar n tn It was just very heavy, heavier than right after the c-section. So I rescheduled and figured it would be much lighter this week or even have stopped. Sometimes when I stand up I just feel like its gushing out (TMI..sorry) and its heavier now than it was last week.
Avatar f tn It slowed down to a really light period for about three days, now it is about inbetween the two. Is it normal to have a period like this after a c-section and nursing??
