So who all is experiencing a heat wave where they live, and who has felt like complete crap since it started?

No heat wave this year but last year it was horrible, and its very dangerous to get a heat stroke, but in Montreal they have a heat wave and humidity its horrible, and that his not a good combination for me because Im allergic to water and my own sweet so I can't do anything :(

The wave of heat can't be a normal hot flash. I had a hysterectomy at age 33. I'm 64. I turn my heat down to at least 63 or 64 at night. It's cool in my room. Every morning as soon as I open my eyes the heat starts. Seems like it starts from my core. It only lasts maybe a minute. I have to throw off the covers and stick my leg out. Sometimes I can almost break a sweat during the heat wave. After it stops I get really cold and have to cover back up. It does not happen any other time.

I got waaay overheated before we got an air conditioner put in. Heat wave struck. Anyway, my hand and most of my arm is half numb and tingling. Almost like I'm holding an electrical cord. Anyone else ever have this? It's making me nervous. You know...what now?

s not too hot most of the time here (England) but it is starting to heat up a little bit and we are meant to be getting a heat wave over the next couple of weeks which should be fun (not) if it happens. I'm so tired all the time too. Lol. Can't believe how fast d-day is coming around!!!

I experienced the itchies but can not remember if it was due to heat..When we had a heat wave here last summmer, I got a dose of extreme fatigue and weakness in legs with burning up both shins..I could barely stand up I was so weak and tired...Don't know if it relates..

12pm Friday afternoon here and I am struggling in this heat wave so just lying on the couch in front of the air con still in my pyjamas!

Lol We definitely did !! I hope this little heat wave breaks and we get some rain soon. I'm so miserable I don't even want to go to the pool or even the corner store . When are you due ?

Heya im in england also and my gosh it is boiling!! Its never been so hot!! Im 10 weeks 3 days and im finding it really hard to im so hot throughout the day that i get bad headaches and it makes me feel ill. I always get in bed at night with a cold towel and an icepop and sometimes a cool/cold shower and leave my window open. Your lucky you have a fan i need to invest in one!

I wonder if the heat wave throughout so much of the U.S. is a contributing factor, causing pseudoexacerbations for some?

Yesterday night i was making a pizza When i open the oven door a heat wave come in My face and eyes . I immediately close the eyes but this was after the wave ,now my vision is normal and the eyes also look normal but I feel something weird on the eyes like a small burning sensation and some head ache maybe I guess the head ache can be that I got nervous . This have never happened to me and I didn’t make anything different or I put my face really near the oven the heat wave just came .

Same here I'm 35 1/2 weeks and hope baby comes a week or 2 early. Don't really wanna wait for the 40 week mark or longer. It's exciting to see the days go by the quicker the better so I can see my little one .

Summer thats So not fair. My central heating has been condemned and we are waiting for them to fix us up with a new system (but it could be up to 2 weeks) its bl**dy freezing here! We've been like this for 2 weeks already. Can I come live with you?????? Lol.

Not to mention the freezing cold we are experiencing. Today felt like a heat wave and it was only 16 degrees.

about the only time I like living in New England...Trees are starting to turn, getting some warm days (unfortunately not warm enough for shorts...they've been put away) and cool crisp nights. I look out our garage back door and over to our left is a large maple tree that is just starting to turn...Beautiful orange colors mixed with the greens that haven't changed yet..against a gray sky (today)...what a beautiful sight..
