Avatar n tn m 22 now) I looked at some pictures of jock itch in the groin which is where I have the rash and it is a perfect match from looks. I've been applying alcohol the kind you use for cuts and scrapes. I read on a google search this can make the rash go away but not sure it. For now, getting rid of the rash would be good enough for me. Something to note is that the rash did expand a very short bit down my thigh but for the past 5 months or so it hasn't expanded rather stay the same.

Avatar n tn Hello, I have had this for a while. I went through an unsuccesful icsi treatment where I took large doses of stimulation drugs. It's during the treatment when I realized an awful rash on both my arms from wrist to shoulder. They do not itch at all, however they are red and often have white "head" puss inside them, which when squeeze it comes up like a pimple. They are raised, red and/or tanned and sometimes look like clogged pores.

Avatar n tn Sounds like heat rash. I too work outside in a hot climate and the chafing and subsequent rash can be very painful. almost to painful to walk. I would try some O/C Hydro cortisone cream to try and reduce the inflammation. Then I suggest you use a product called Body Glide. It eliminates chafing and blisters. It comes in an easy to apply stick like a deodorant would. It is not sticky or messy.

Avatar m tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be dermatitis skin, contact dermatitis or heat rash. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful apart from steroid creams. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.
Avatar n tn I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.

Now the rash has jumped up to just behind my arm pits more towards my back. also on one arm in the bend of my elbow. so basically entire groin area stopping immediately where pants fit on hips, bend in elbow, and arm pits... VERY VERY itchy..
Avatar m tn No itching, no discomfort. Awhile ago, I had a heat rash on my inner thighs and groin area, but it seemed to have gone away. I used some hydrocortizone cream on the head of my penis in which it looked like it went away; however, once i stop it came back. Its summer and I tend to sweat in my groin area. Can anyone potentially give me some insight on what this maybe? A picture of the following is attached.
Avatar m tn I have been feeling discomfort in the area around my upper inside thighs, groin and across to my belt line for about a week. It has a sensation of heat (almost like a slight burning) - (however when I visibly inspect the area there are no signs of any visible rashes or such). A while ago I had a yeast infection and the dr gave me some creme (on the penis). I checked for pubic lice and have no visible signs of any such materials (eggs, nits, droppings in underpants or lice themselves).
Avatar m tn So two years ago I had a HSV scare; I had a strange rash on my lower abdomen/groin which persisted for about six months despite repeated antiviral & antibiotic treatment. An early HSV test was low-level positive, a WB confirmatory was inconclusive, and another HSV test came back negative. I met with 9 doctors including a HSV specialist who declared it was NOT herpes related.
Avatar m tn maybe 4 months ago i started to get a little rash on my groin where the pelvis and thigh meet, well i thought nothing of it, its just heat rash. so i let it be, after a while it got worse and i showed my father, he said it was heat rash, so i thought it would just go away, but it hasn't, in fact it has spread.
