I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be dermatitis skin, contact dermatitis or heat rash. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful apart from steroid creams. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.
I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.

If this is folliculitits or inflammation of the hair follicles, this will resolve on its own after a few days. Warm compress may also help. If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated by your doctor.

I've posted here before, but it was because of my paranoia of treatment failure (pharyngeal gonorrhea). 5 days ago, I developed a mysterious rash on my chest. It was weird because I did not have a rash in the morning. My parents think it's a heat rash because I wore all black, and the sun was out. The rash was kinda stung when I showered the following morning.

Still today I see few of them showing up and disappearing. When I asked someone they told me, it is due to heat and called heat rash. hives are itchy irregular raise patches of redness and heat can heighten an allergic reaction if your son has been out in the heat when the rash came. it may also be heat rash, but the benedryl and bactine would do him no harm if you give them and they are not what is needed. a cold wash cloth works well on hives and heat rash.
have just looked up this on a dermatology website, but the symptoms do not match, in my case the 'rash' just looks like sunburn, reddening of the skin and has no other characteristics than it feeling hot, like sunburn. in some cases it can appear and disappear in 10 minutes depending on the situation im in, other times it takes a little longer to disappear. i have tried to search many skin conditions on the internet but can not find anything which matches, as no other symptoms persist.
Is it all because of the one time I went tanning before I got married? Is it PMLE or just a heat rash?
