Avatar n tn As you originally stated - it just may be Miliaria/Prickly Heat/Sweat rash.. If the small papules are on your back, they may be flesh colored and unnoticable. Prickly heat can be mild to severe. I get this sometimes when the water is too hot. Have someone look at your back after you have gotten out of the shower.
Avatar m tn A urinalysis and urine culture may be done to help determine if a UTI is present .Heat rash may also be a differential here especially in areas of the arm pits or in well covered areas. Have these tests done first so that the right management be given you.

Miliaria arises from obstruction of the sweat ducts. It is commonest in hot, humid conditions and affects up to 30% of people exposed to these climatic conditions. Avatar n tn Sorry, forgot to tell you the name it's called Miliaria - one thing does work for some is to take cold showers before going out, could have something to do with the strep bacterium not mulitplying too much!

Avatar n tn Also i should note i have been suffering with some form of prickly heat or miliaria. Only thing is i never had a rash. Do you think it could be something as simple as clogged sweat glands? Like if i was to start going to a sauna could that help?
