heat

Avatar n tn s a problem which quite a few women seem to get more than men. It is a heat rash where your body cannot expel the sweat from the glands properly - it is brought on by the sun.
Avatar n tn hives are itchy irregular raise patches of redness and heat can heighten an allergic reaction if your son has been out in the heat when the rash came. it may also be heat rash, but the benedryl and bactine would do him no harm if you give them and they are not what is needed. a cold wash cloth works well on hives and heat rash.
Avatar f tn s a subcategory of physical urticaria that is a skin rash brought on by a hypersensitive reaction to body heat. Symptoms follow any stimulus to sweat such as exercise (sometimes called exercise-induced urticaria, see Exercise urticaria), heat from the sun (which could also indicate solar urticaria), saunas, hot showers (reaction to water can also indicate water urticaria), spicy foods which may cause an increase in body temperature or even stress due to blushing or anger.

Avatar n tn If it is an allergy I think a Hydrocortisone cream will help ..you can get one OTC but also go to your doctor who may prescribe some thing stronger ..

Avatar m tn Hi All, I seem to have developed some kind of heat or sun rash that i experience every time i go overseas. It normally appears within 15 minutes of exposure to sun. I've tried all different types of sunscreens that are meant to be very friendly with no luck. Once it's appeared pretty much nothing will calm it down including air con, antihystamines or steroid creams (which i don't like using).

Avatar f tn For about 4 years or so, I have had rash that is around my neck/chest/shoulder area..... it hasn't progressed. But in times of heat or stress it seems to become redder and even itch...... I have noticed my boyfriend, of 1 year has got the same thing in his chest hair region.... and at first it was small... but the other he came over he came back from work and it was red and looked like miine. Im wondering if it is contagious? or what might this be causing this?
Avatar m tn When i go out in the cold and return into a room that is warm/well heated my skin breaks out in a rash. The dermatologist said it might be some type of allergy. He has prescribed numerous medications and i am still getting the rash. I'm starting to worry it might be a symptom for something serious. I have been looking online for answers and have seen posts suggesting cancer all the way to hiv. Any suggestions? Am i over reacting?
Avatar n tn My daughter is two and woke up over a week ago with puffy skin under one eye. After getting a hive on her cheek I checked her body. She had bright red hives on her neck and down her back. Same on neck and chest. Took her to doctor who thought allergen Ruben in her eye. She has peanut allergy. I was unsure because we didn't have peanuts. Maybe new allergy. Took her to allergist after rash didn't go away for a couple days. She thought she seemed sick.
Avatar n tn Have you ruled out heat rash??? I don't know how itchy it is but heat rash involves blocked sweat glands and it can definately form into a raised rash. Another possibility is discoid eczema. Unexplained dermatitis is a real thing as well. I have 'something' going on with one of my fingers. It will flair up into an itchy, very small raised rash, and then I scratch and the skin gets shiny and it peals. It does this a couple of times a year and is ONLY on my pinkie. ?????
Avatar n tn It looks like a very very faint rash, small pink spots. Almost like an ant bite. Like a normal heat rash? they aren't raised and they eventually go away. i think my skin might be dry as well. i thought it might have been from shaving so i avoided that for a week and it didn't change anything. My new job involves a lot of walking all day long. Could that be my problem? I am quite a paranoid person so i am beginning to worry. Does anyone else have this problem?
Avatar m tn Could be an allergy to the laundry detergent you are using, have you changed it?
Avatar n tn Is it possible to get allergies from natural gas heat in the home. Every year when we begin to heat the house, I begin to itch. Could it be caused by the gas furnace?
