It really soothed my daughters cough when she was sick. Luckiky I didn't get the last 3-4 colds that got the rest of my family. I swear its the prenatals.

Avatar f tn I use lemon ginger cookies and tea, whole wheat crackers, and the occasional ginger ale that I've let mostly fizzle out (: works like a charm for me! (Especially if you don't like super sugary remedies, cuz for me sugary and high-calorie and fat things have always made me feel more sick. It also takes a little getting used to! Whenever you feel sick of being sick all-day-every-day, just remind yourself of how bamf you are because YOU are growing a person.

Avatar f tn Real ginger. Crystallized is good. Also they make morning sickness tea (it has ginger in it too) I use earth mama angel baby organic morning wellness tea. Their heartburn tea is also good. You can also drink ginger beer made with real ginger. Its very strong though and about $2 per 6oz bottle. I loved it for a while though.

Avatar f tn I find that triscuits of all things help a bit, if I eat them slowly! And ginger tea or ginger ale helps (as long as it's Canada-Dry that has real ginger in it). And weirdly enough, salt and vinegar chips helped a bit too, my friend suggested it and I was desperate enough to try anything, and it worked for me! It was the only thing I was able to keep down for most of last week!

Avatar f tn My husband and I aslo make tea out of fresh ginger, basil and some honey. Just crush the leaves, drop a chunk of ginger in and pour hot water over it and steep for 7-10 min. Its opens up your nasal passage and helps clear your head. Tastes good too. I hope you feel better :) im with you, i dont like taking antibiotics or medication either, especially while pregnant.
Avatar f tn Well ladies for me I have tried it all at first fresh ginger tea with honey would help me, or chamomile. Now no over counter medications help I have ran out of options so I Google and one cup of water with half a tea spoon of baking soda helps me and I haven't had to drink any in like 2 or 3 days been sleeping much better. I have bad heartburn that I wake up vomiting at night. I asked my ob she said it's ok for me to have it bt not more than 3 sips every two or 3 hours. Hope it helps..

It just makes me feel like gagging. Not always but I'm assuming with the way my stomach has been it probably will. Thanks for the advice.
