6202880 tn?1380332653 I dont think its natural to sleep on the left side as everyone sleeps on their back, tummy, or right side. I think the most important part of sleep while pregnant is to be as comfortable as possible to get as much sleep as possible.

Avatar n tn Hi Jeanie, the radiation you refer to, ductal carcinoma in situ -DCIS, can you please let me know the site and if left or right breast? Although Annie's was ductal invasive, node neg, the site of surgery for br sparing surgery was on the outer rim of rh breast right next to the sternum. However tattoo marks extend over the sternum to the opposite left healthy breast. During the course of radiation Annie told Oncology that 'you are making the heartburn worse, you are burning too deep!
Avatar f tn I've had heartburn in my sleep every time for the passed 3 nights. I don't know what to do. I mean it goes away after a while I just don't want to rely on runs. So I've been drinking milk and laying on my left side but is there anyway I can prevent it before it happens?! It's been keeping me up and it's so obnoxious. My baby better be born with a full head of hair!

4601190 tn?1357338863 I know its suggested you lay on your left side, but you can lay on your right side as well, if it helps. Also, sometimes I get nauseous when I have constipation, if thats the problem maybe talk to a doctor about it, they can help. If you enjoy yogurt, activia is the bomb to help regulate your digestve tract. Also, try eating around 7ish, and eat small portions, but lots of meals, rather thab one big heavy dinner.
Avatar n tn I would say that you are correct, and that the article is incorrect. However, if you find from experience that lying on your left side gives you less heartburn than lying on your right side, then by all means do what makes you feel better.

Avatar n tn Greetings everybody, I'm a 27 year old male (not overweight, healthy), ever since I could remember back in grade school I would get this sudden sharp pain every once in a while. The pain is in the left chest area (heart area). I've always thought of it as occasional heart burn and for the first time in a while I got it again today. Let me describe today's incident as it is pretty similar to all other incidents I can remember.
