Avatar m tn There is a myth associated with wines. Of late, many chefs are debunking the red wine for red meat and white wine for white meat theory. Forget the myth. Whatever wine you enjoy should be used regardless of red or white meat. If you don't drink wine, anything from coffee to a highball will do depending on your taste. So sit back, relax and enjoy.
203342 tn?1328737207 Is there another liquid you can use besides wine? Possibly like a good chicken broth? I cannot have wine because of the medication I'm on. This recipe sounds really good!! Thank You!!
213739 tn?1215486009 This is the easiest recipe for Beef Stroganoff, that I've ever seen.
Avatar f tn Sounds like a good recipe. My only problem is that I am allergic to red wine. I have no idea how many people have this problem, but there may be others, and I wouldn't bring anything cooked in red wine to a pot-luck church dinner.
Avatar f tn We just found out i was pregnant, i quite smoking cold turkey, and im only 5weeks acording to the chart my baby doeant even have a heart beat. I was told with my first pregnancy that it was safe, and good for the babies heart beat to have 1 glass of red wine only a day.
Avatar f tn Yes it's good for the heart but it still has alcohol in it that's bad for the baby. Trust me! Take it from someone who misses her red wine and sangria DEEPLY!!

193137 tn?1367880063 The cioppino turned out pretty well and for the amount of effort put into it, it's fantastic. Definitely good cost-benefit ratio on this recipe. I don't think it's as good as my bouillabaise recipe (although it's similar), but the bouillabaise recipe takes forever. Next time, I'll have to try this recipe with some toasted bread and rouille. The rouille might be exactly what this recipe is lacking.
506791 tn?1439842983 s sterile and will not ruin the wine if it is drawn into the jug. All wine has some level of sulfites, it is a by-product of fermentation.

676143 tn?1312941771 So, I was just looking online for ways to get things moving as I am 2 days past due date with impending induction in 2 days. I ran across the recipe for the eggplant parmesan from Scalini's in Atlanta that was mentioned in another thread: http://www.wchstv.com/gmarecipes/eggplantparmigian.shtml It was on this website that has other links and "tricks", too: http://pregnancy.lovetoknow.
Avatar f tn I too, love my wine in the evening. I have stents that have been there since 2004 without any problems. But I know that even wine can be dangerous in excess.
Avatar n tn Do any of you ladies know anything about drinking wine during pregnancy? I've had a couple friends tell me red wine is fine in moderation. One glass on a night. Anyone have any doctor tell them that is ok? I haven't drank any. Just curious...
483733 tn?1326798446 Note I forgot: Like I've written before, healthy eating is relative to you and how your body works. I can eat "junky" and stay relatively healthy, while someone who is my age, ethnic mix, height, weight and so forth, may have high cholesterol just from looking at pictures of butter. Medicine is a art, which is informed by science. We must all, therefore, be artistic in our approach...
