347645 tn?1283220742 The spirit is like a mountain All must climb to see the view. There are many paths up the mountain Like the winding ways in you. Climbing the north face is most dark and cold. Climbing the south face is bathed in gold. Climbing the west face the sunset is seen. Climbing the east face the sun will redeem. No matter the path to the mountain peak, The spirit awaits those who would seek, And the blinding light, the heat or cold Are but a garnish to the story untold.
Avatar m tn The last 2 weeks i realise sudden pains in my heart when i am laughing (but not all the time) and i am really scared. There was one night that these pains occurred when i was trying to sleep. The pain feels like somebody squeeze my heart for a moment and i think it feels like my heart looses blood or something. I was an athlete and i have been doing cardio the last 3-4 years almost daily. It's been a year that i stopped being active at all.

Avatar n tn I had a heart cath and they found a 100% blocked right CA (1/2 way down just past the first two blood vessels, 40% blockage at the start of the left CA with subsequent blockages of 50-60% in the right blood vessel at the top and another blockage of 50% toward the bottom of that blood vessel. I then have a 100% blockage of another of the vessels leading off of the trunk vessel to the left. The cardiologist doing the cath referred me to another DR for bypass surgery.

528816 tn?1227186706 For me, if I believe, I will give my heart to the very end to obtain what I desire. But I know my road is just beginning, but I also know that I believe, so therefore I can accomplish. Every fighter believes, and that is what makes the man within....when you believe. Tonight, I believe I can, tonight, I write in my journal that I believe that what is ahead is a rocky road, but no more rocky than the life I lead to this point.
Avatar n tn I love mountain biking and it has become the best sport i ever did. I recently though started to rock climb. I want to just make sure at 27 years old I will not drop dead pushing myself! I currently take cholesterol medication because of genetics. This test is also from a year ago and the reason why i bring it up now is because my doctor said I should have another echo done to make sure everything is fine. She has never told me not to exercise!

405614 tn?1329144114 I kept dragging myself to the pool, then herniated the disc while taking my cat to the vet. I sought help, and when things calmed down, went back to the pool, made jewelry, cooked wonderful vegetarian meals. Then came the morning when I woke up with my head and hands shaking, then my trunk, then my legs wouldn't work quite right, and the nasty occipital headache, floaters in my right eye. I fell. I kept thinking it would get better, but I was so tired I could hardly do anything.
Avatar f tn I was Mountain Biking this last week, as I always do, and after a while without any apparent reason my heart rate started to climb and it reached 200 bpm and started to fluctuate going down and going up and stayed like that for around 30 minutes until it stay at its normal rate. This happened once before last year exactly the same. I want to know what might be the reason for this because it is scary, i could see my heart beating very rapidly in my chest.
Avatar m tn i like to ride horses and mountain climb can i still do those thing if i have surgery is sex still possible
Avatar f tn Not the heavy strap-on harness that I wore many years ago. I wrote last month about pushing my heart to the extreme for results. And after much debating I decided to go for it. So, the first part of the day, I rode my horse for four hours, which I haven't done in over three months because of chest inflammation induced from exercising and increased heart rate. I then went on an extreme hike, 10 miles and every mountain I could find to climb.
Avatar m tn They are what they must be. But, baby the the meds are here, Baby, the sides will come, Wherever this tx leads me Baby, I must go, baby I must go.
Avatar n tn I attribute that to the developing blockages and not getting enough oxgenated blood to my heart. No medical person has told me that, but that is what I believe. It may be worth having a 64 slice CT to image your coronary arteries. It may be you have similar issues.
Avatar n tn And those of us, who battle long to scale this mountain, having deeply and intimately known the trials and pains of the climb, will take the care and time to assist others with compassion who may initially perceive the climb as "too steep". On the other hand, who is not to say, Bmac, that your assessment of the mountain as a walk in the plains, is not better for us anyhow, those of us perhaps who may be making "mountains out of molehills"?
Avatar n tn Hi, Over the past 3 or 4 years I've had various 'episodes' of what I think is tachycardia arrhythmia. The episodes last generally from a few days to around a month. Generally what happens is the following: - irregular heart beat: 3-6 normal beats followed by what I can only call a minor explosion or irregular beat followed by a long pause before the normal beat.
Avatar m tn I really starting to notice I have a cycle and at the koment although I don't feel like I'm on top of the world I know that gradually I'm comming out of my depression and heading into what I'm starting to call my growth phase. In this phase I become more productive.
Avatar n tn Ascended to the plateau and immediately proceeded up to the top. I was unsure whether I wanted to climb that far and considered giving up several times, but stayed strong and made it to the edge of the precipice. Took plenty of pictures. So far so good. On my way down, however, I managed to walk in the entirely wrong direction without realizing it – that is, until I noticed that the mountain that should be on my left side suddenly was on my right.
Avatar m tn Bipolar is like climbing a mountain, it takes an incredible effort, a great deal of time and energy and the right tools to get on top of it. But when you loose control it only takes a short time to fall that great distance you have spent so long conquering and when you hit the bottom you hit it so hard. How many times can you keep climbing and falling from this mountain before one of the falls is so bad you finally cant get up from it.
Avatar f tn Hi.. I am in my 30s. when I was 14 I walked a steep mountain I didn't felt such pain as muscle torn...
