m thinking it (palpitations) has something to do with the hernia operation 10 months ago. Also thinking my body isn't getting the oxygen it needs.

question is would it be safer for her to remove the gallbladder first? As drs wont do it due to her heart issues that require to unblock her artery(in.a few mnths, i do understand the gallbladder removal is a pretty straightforward operation, and if has further infections it would be required to be removed first. Having a past detachment increases your risk greatly of having another one in either eye. Intraocular surgery like cataract surgery also increases your risk in that eye. Have a "heart to heart" with your surgeon about the risks. If you need the cataract op to see, do it. I have done many such cases and have rarely had a problem. Also, have the retina checked. If there are any suspicious areas which may result in a hole, you might have them lasered in advance of the surgery.
