886699 tn?1270779744 Has anyone tried the suspension tables as part of therapy for POTS? I went to a home show yesterday and was feeling very tired and tried hanging from one for about 10 mins and it felt sooo good! I was just wondering if this might be good for us. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Hay ladies iam 29 weeks pregnant. And have really bad heart burn. My midwife said to take gaviscon. And igot the chewing tables. Are they ok to take.
Avatar f tn why wont an inversion table help? I have a 7mm stricture and cant find a doctor that will even acknowlege that chiaris cause a problem more than a headache and even then say there isn't much i can do but live with it. I'm in pain everyday, dizziness, heart palpitation, nausea, and many other things. Three spinal taps to relieve pressure(wont do that again).
Avatar m tn Paul McKinnley certainly knows more about black on black crime than any white folk on this forum and he wasn't the only black person in the video, but of course, it's easy blow a little smoke and discredit the whole video based on one person and the fact that Glenn Beck presented it. That's totally incredible. And I'm the one who is supposed to be misguided... that's laughable.
Avatar f tn Although SVT is generally not life-threatening in an otherwise normal heart, symptoms from the racing heart may feel quite uncomfortable. These arrhythmias are common in young people.
Avatar f tn Many individuals following open heart surgery have a memory problem for about 6 months post operation. Open heart surgery puts the individual on heart and lung machine so the fibrosis is probably not an issue during the operation. The main problem with the heart is the valve orifice and that can be corrected without open heart surgery (sometimes). The aorta regurgitation can be the cause of shortness of breath as well as the pulmonary issue. What is the operation expectation.
Avatar f tn I've had heart palpitations for 10 months, they started right after a hiatus hernia operation. I get them everyday. I get them at different times, while watching tv or just relaxing in bed, doing normal everyday things. I had blood work done and was told I was low on B12 and was told to take 1000 mcg of a supplement daily. While taking it the palpitations got stronger so I stopped taking it and they eased up.
2120085 tn?1344765910 So Vibraslim tables if you arent sure are plates that you stand on that supposedly aid weight loss and help people with joint problems. My mother uses them and i am interested in trying i have asked her if they shake head and neck and she said no would it be ok to use these? Its like 10 min session 3-4 times a week opinions?
2083449 tn?1381354708 This has to be one of the biggest upsets ever!! My heart simply can not take much more of this! Now the Cardinals will play my beloved San Francisco Giants for the National League Championship! I'm going to need Finger transplants after this! I've bitten them off to the knuckles! Let's Go Giants.....
Avatar m tn Having a past detachment increases your risk greatly of having another one in either eye. Intraocular surgery like cataract surgery also increases your risk in that eye. Have a "heart to heart" with your surgeon about the risks. If you need the cataract op to see, do it. I have done many such cases and have rarely had a problem. Also, have the retina checked. If there are any suspicious areas which may result in a hole, you might have them lasered in advance of the surgery.
Avatar n tn 2yrs ago he had a few episodes of shortness of breath and chest pain. Dr. said his heart was slow. Ekg showed irregularties. We saw a cardiolgist. Echo cardigram was done was told everything looked good. He wore a heart halter again everything was fine. Re-did all test again in 6-months. cardoligist said everything is fine. he had only 1 instance happen last year and it was a very hot day while playing football. Was told a combination of heat exhaust and dehydration.
2093880 tn?1334813768 The only link I have so far is that my uncle (pacemaker/heart transplant uncle) noticed that he could only play the 8 minutes in rec league basketball game, while he was in his mid 30's. On one of my bad days I decided to play, instead of sitting out, during one of my rec league basketball games this year and could only play 8 minutes, before having to sit out the rest of the game. He seems to think, 'without a doubt', they had what I have. So can PSVT lead to heart failure?
Avatar n tn good luck and i sincerely hope it works out well for you and you can put your heart situation and your issues behind you...i know it is very difficult.....
Avatar n tn my father having hernia problem, he had heart blockages too 90,99,90% we come to know in an geography, we don't want to do bypass sugary but want to do hernia operation whether it is suitable for him???
Avatar n tn There is a mixed view on when to do a valve operation. The Mayo Clinic's renown heart surgery states publically that the biggest problem he see is that the patient waited too long. Waiting too long can require an operation when the left ventricle is enlarged and that condition would reduce the EF, and an operation subsequently the EF may never return to normal function.
Avatar m tn With children there is usually two operations, the second operation to account for the growth factor of a child.
Avatar m tn t exclude an iondividual from an operation. If that were the criterion as a basis for an operation, then heart surgery, etc. would be contraindicated. The doctor may have other reasons concomitant to a heart issue...you should ask! The best method for determining the best hospitals and medical is from a health professional in your country. You could contact the Cleveland Clinic by email for more information and may be they could help you.
Avatar m tn If the blockages in the circumflex get worse, then blood will be less available for both the right side of the heart and the left side/rear. I would look into the possibilities of having the blockage in the right artery opened using stents also. If the muscle near the left apex is viable, then I would probably be looking to bypass.A nuclear scan would be very valuable here.
Avatar n tn The general rule of thumb is to surgically repair, or replace, the faulty valve when the patient is symptomatic or shows signs of declining cardiac funtion. That said, it's just a general guideline and each patient should be evaluated by their own physicians. Have you seen your cardiologist recently? What is his/her recommendation? Any chance you could go to Cleveland Clinic or Mayo?
Avatar f tn Having an EF below 29% is considered to be in the heart failure range indicating the heart is oftened unable to pump strong enough to meet the systems demand for blood/oxygen. Depending on the underlying cause and effective treatment may increase one's prognoses to many years if one hasn't any compromising concomitant health issues. About 6 years ago I had an EF below 29% and congested heart failure, and currently may heart is pumping normally at 59%.
535882 tn?1396576685 then it followed with unexplained nerve inflamation throughout my entire body, that has gone, but throughout this year i have ahd rapid heart beats boundinding heart beats , getting winded easy, .. bounding so bad it would wake me up at night, was put on beta blockers a montha go seems to help but still is going on.
Avatar n tn In my understanding after operation he can consider about one year as a healing time. I did not have operation, but was recovering from my heart failure. 1 YEAR I needed to feel well and no pain or very occasional pain. He must be sure NOT lifting heavy things. When I had lift or was letting stress in my life, all turned out of some sort of pain. Those are the 2 mayor things he should watch for. Change all stress for love,(easier to say, but must try :)) and …do the heavy lifting for him!!
