All this to say my doctor told me to see a Cardiologist because he said i have a heart murmur. He asked if i was born with this I was not.... I do have chest pain feels deep in my heart especially in the morning when i awake. I already consulted last year for this and the doctor told me not to be alarmed it was probably a pulled muscle. Can anyone please help me understand about this heart mur mur? thank you.

I don't know what they mean by abnormal QRS based on the settings in the machine? An abnormal QRS could have many underlying causes including heart block. Also, the murmur is a sound, but the severity of the murmur isn't listed. You don't say if you have any symptoms.
You are dealing with the weight issue, but the stress is just as high in risk.
but yes there is a correlation between murmurs and irregular beats. the heart murmur actually causes them, but if the doc says the heart murmur is nothing to worry about dont worry. everything you experience is benign and if you are having lots of them and they bother you, the doc will probably give you a beta blocker or something of that manner...hope this helped...

I would recommend getting your daughter's heart checked out by her pediatrician and finding out if she has a heart murmur. If she is saying that she is getting some pain then it is best to get it checked out. I took my 2 week old daughter to her 2 week check-up with her doctor and was told she had a heart murmur. The murmur was not picked up at the hospital. The murmur is only heard on the left side, but can be heard from the back and side as well and they said it was loud. The doctor also said that it was only heard on the systolic cycle. She has never been blue in her lips, she has a pulse in the femoral arteries and she eats fine.

At a recent pre - op assessment (for shoulder surgery) I was found to have a heart murmur and the surgery has been postponed until I get an echocardiogram to see what's causing the heart murmur. Does anyone know if atrial fibrillation can cause a heart murmur to develop?
