Avatar f tn I think my husband had a mild heart attack early this morning (4 a.m.?). He had all the symptoms as I looked them up. He refused me to call 911 saying he thought he was ok. By 5:30 he felt well enough to rest, and sleep until 7. At 7 he said his chest was still hurting, but it was not a heart attack. He got dressed and left for work, saying he had a busy day and could not call in sick. I am freaking out b/c everything I read says you need treatment within 24 hours.
937826 tn?1261333879 this is my second heart attack this one is a bad one which they called major couldn't breathe felt like some one was sitting on my chest and twisting it around.

Avatar m tn I'm not a doctor, but I understand people can be having a heart attack and still have a normal or near normal blood pressure. Heart attacks in women don't always include the same/typical symptoms as they do in men. Also, it's fairly common in women that symptoms of a heart attack come and go--so just because the clear up doesn't mean you're not having a heart attack. Better safe than sorry, right? I would seek medical attention immediately. First, take a 325 mg.

17567 tn?1276202029 So, awhile back I started getting left arm pain, which is generally a wake up sound for a heart attack? Rather than ignore it and hope it goes away I actually did something about it... and went to a cardiologist. After a few tests he tells me my heart is fine but by cholesterol is very high (260) and puts me on lipitor. Cardiologists are very big on driving blood pressure and cholesterol down towards zero needless to say.
967168 tn?1477584489 maybe maybe not? I know how quirky EKG/ECG machines are so I'm really hoping this time it's a false reading. My Primary found a new murmur and I've been so sick for about 5-6 months; not feeling right, more winded than normal, major headaches, different types of chest pain than before and ALOT more fainting spells even with my ICD.
Avatar m tn I thought I had a mild heart attack after bending down to get kitty toys off floor. First felt nausea, pain in jaw. Heart thomping so bad that I had to lay down and not move. I also took aspirin.

Avatar n tn another panic attack ,mis afternoon.
Avatar n tn Go to the ER NOW! Tell them your having chest pain or had chest pain like you described and they'll put you right in past everyone. They do an EKG and test your blood for heart enzymes released during a heart attack. They'll be able to tell you right then if that's what happened. That pain you felt could have been a heart attack. If you've had similar pain for a year it could be angina. Don't delay.
Avatar m tn what is difference between Heart attack and Angina pain
Avatar m tn hi, im a 26 yr old doctor, on december 10 2009 i suffered from a massive heart attack, my angiography was done n revealed that my LAD and RCA was completely blocked by thrombus, after receiving eptifabatide infusion a re- angio was done n revealed that my RCA was completely cleared there was a small plaque in LAD i was then fitted with a drug elluting stent... at the time of attack my cholesterol, bp etc was normal, doctors said that it was due to hypercoaguble state of my blood...
Avatar n tn One suggests that I am having a possible heart attack. Nothing is done and finally a year later, I am referred to a cardiologist. He mentions that I MIGHT have had a heart attack, so he does a cardiolite stress test and a echo. Both come back normal. And he does that where the machine goes around you and you lie on a table, don't know what it is called. I have had a ekg since then that was normal.

1160520 tn?1402981076 Anxiety attack with heart palpitations on and off most of the day, had to try to sleep to relax and calm my heart down otherwise I would of had a heart attack - that's how severe my attacks/episodes are.
Avatar m tn HI The good news is there is no damage to your heart muscle, which means the things you read on the internet do not apply to you. Those statistics normally relate to people who have dead heart muscle from a heart attack. Your latest echo proves your muscle is fine. You seem surprised that this has happened at your age. It is becoming more common now. When I was 46 I had my first blockage, but others were seen during the angiogram which had been there for many years.
