That way, I know what's in there!

Also, try eating small meals/snacks every 2 hours.. for example. Yesterday I had 8am- banana with peanut butter, granola and raisins on top 11- Greek yogurt with fresh kiwi cut up in it 130pm- I had some almonds and dried fruit..with some cottage cheese 4pm- carrots and broccoli 6pm- a bowl of frosted mini wheats This is just an example what I eat/like food wise..

Cliff bars were invented for off road cyclists who were expending a lot of energy and burning it quickly. Are you?

Oatmeal, usually with blueberries or raspberries added or cinnamon. A few nuts also brightens it up. Use Splenda or Splenda brown sugar if you need additional "sugar" ... I now eat it plain. 3. Pumpkin pancakes with very little sugar free maple syrup (I don't like much syrup) 4.

Avatar f tn Plenty of healthy snacks you could eat. Yogurt, nuts, any kind of fruit, and veggies like celery, grapes, apples. Keep in mind portion because of sugar in fruits, but its natually added. I have heard and trying on my own to eat small several times a day. Like if you grapes and an hour later you eat something else. Pretzel thins and wheat thins are good too, but check nutrional panel.
Avatar f tn The fruit salad is probably not such a good idea for every meal/snack, because fruit contains a lot of sugar, even though it's a natural sugar. When you eat things with that much sugar, it causes your blood sugar to spike, which in turn causes your pancreas to pump out insulin. Whatever sugar you don't use up right away, is shuttled by the insulin, right into fat cells. Protein and fat are what make you feel satisfied and keep you feeling fuller longest.
