Avatar n tn I ate some Meatloaf w/onions,a little mac and cheese, and black eyed peas, and some apple crisp on New Years Day and had an attack 30 mintues after eating.. (similar to your daughter eating the Reese cup). But on the other hand I even ate pizza with no problems at all. I've also lost about 12 pounds through all of this. By the way I'm 32. Never had a health problem in my life until this. Best wishes to your daughter, tell her to hang in there. It WILL get better, but it may take time.
Avatar n tn I have had this happen before, and it eventually went away. This bout has lasted about 7 days now. I find going outside for fresh crisp air helps, as does yoga breath. I tend to find it worse in the afternoon. But releif doesn't last long, another yawning bout starts soon after. Anxiety is a strong connection I'm wondering about - but to be honest, I'm not sure. Time for a doc's appointment I guess...and by the time I get in, the symptoms will probably be gone.

The safe method is to try one new food every 4th day. Healthy people can safely eat 25-50 g of fructose "at one sitting". Fructose malabsorption, officially is condition, when you can't safely eat 25g of fructose. Now, some with FM can safely ingest 20 g, but other can't have even 5g. Depends on severity of malabsorption.

B) Shake made of Probiatic yogurt, peanut butter and juice. C)Heavy Cream mixed into oatmeal D) Heavy Cream poured on top of sliced bananas and honey.E) Carrots dipped into blue cheese dressing. 4)Stay away from sick people (cold etc). I have had a cold and strep throat for two weeks. Has anyone had any burning in the spine?.
Avatar n tn Hopefully antifungals will cure this for us. I am starting Apple cider vinegar with orange juice. I also do a nasal flush with Grapefruit extract. The idea is to change the fungi environment so that it does not support it. Best of luck to all and please give any input that leads to a solution albiet from your ENT etc. Thanks to all!!
Avatar n tn It is worse for me for foods such most raw veges - carrots, capsicums, lettuce, and apple skin. It causes a minor infection, gets goopy and i go down with a cold until it decides to come out in a lump of goo. I have tried to improve my immune system so that it doesn't affect me as much when it happens. I have also discovered that it is stopping me from fully playing the didgeridoo as the pressure going down the didg is reduced by a slip of air coming out my nose!!
Avatar n tn A healthy lifestyle is what is important. If you have a healthy lifestyle, are active, have a good BP, blood sugar etc etc and you are at a steady weight...you are at a healthy weight. That is my non medical background but well researched opinion!

He said there was no quick fix and it would take awhile. have also found that taking apple cider vinegar and honey mixed together will help aid digestion by naturally producing bicarbonate which is your bodies natural antacid. Which is also the main ingrediant in baking soda.. A dill pickle will also help with the chest pain by causing the same effect.

I do have a big white plastic type bandaid over my l one and I dont take it off till I see the surgeon Thursday. I heard nothing but wonderful comments about my surgeon. Her father was a surgeon and retired a couple of years ago, so she worked under him.
Avatar n tn In order to hear the music clearly I actually have to turn it up very very loud. Which is not healthy but is the only way I can hear it. I suggest you get the device that tunes out the white noise because it really works.

Avatar n tn And to prevent this, first, I clean up the itchy part of my body, then wet it (not rub) using my palm with food grade hydrogen peroxide. Let it dry, then wet it with apple juice. It alleviates itch for 30 mins to 1 hour, and helps you avoid scratching it. Hope this helps!
