Avatar n tn I would like to please hear from anyone who has or is experiencing joint and muscle aches pre treatment. My joints fingers, knees, ankles, and muscles ache deeply, sometimes it's hard to be comfortable even to sleep. I explained this to the doc and he did some blood test to determine arthritis? That was weeks ago and he's not been very helpful. Any info or remedies would be greatly appreciated.

Avatar m tn Hey guys, just wondering, I have aching joints {mainly in my knees and ankles} But I feel it also in my hands and it's easy for my ankles to crack. I can function normally but I am wondering whether this is due to 1. My increased stress levels from last week { I had a medical scare, got the blood tests back and am O.K.} 2. Anxiety from the same situation {The whole time this disease I thought I had was on my mind constantly, I often would lay in bed crying my eyes out then stop.
Avatar f tn My eldest cat is 11 yrs and lately she has had stiff joints. I feed her dried food but her stomach can't tolerate the Senior dried food. Is there anything I might be able to give her to help her joints?
Avatar f tn Has anyone else ever noticed that the joints which are most sore itch deep inside? I first noticed it in my hands, that a joint would seem itchy, but scratching didn't help. After a while I realized that it was a precursor to, or concurrent to my joints being inflamed. Just wondering how common this is, and if anyone knows the name for it. Also, out of curiosity, if you have experienced this, what autoimmune disease do you have.
Avatar n tn I consider myself pretty healthy, no medications, and up till recently dint complain about much. Any ideas or suggestion?
Avatar n tn I'm a 24 yr old male, reasonably healthy (up until recently). For the past 2mths,I have had infrequent pain in my chest.Mainly,it is like really bad heartburn, but recently other discomfort has occurred (notably tender to the touch, especially at the front of the ribs & muscular aches going round to my back).I saw my doctor approx 2 wks ago & he said I had a virus (I do currently have a headache & feel bunged up & stifled, although that may just be hay fever).
Avatar n tn My hands, knees, neck, feet joints all feel weak and loose like. It is hard to function at all. This comes and goes throughout the day. Advil helps for a while. When I wake up I am so stiff I can hardly move but this does get better during the day. I have seen 3 doctors who all say this is not normal for menopause. I have been tested for Reumatoid Arthritis, thyroid problems, and other things which are all negative. Tests do indicate menopause. I have tried Fmhrt which helps a little.
Avatar n tn I went to neurologist and they found a little syrinx on my spinal cord but they said it's too small to have that big effect on my body. I took vitamins and ate healthy and it started to get better. But right now I guess my left leg has a permanent damage (effort to lift) and the rest of the body one day is better than the other day, it changes. Proteins like meat and eggs have a very good effect, breakfast has also a good effect.

Avatar f tn If you are older, it will be written off as normal wear and tear, but if you are younger, the doctor might want to do an X-ray and find out what your joints are looking like. Glucosamine and condroitin might be recommended as well.
Avatar m tn I am 24 years old and for the majority of my life i have been healthy, I didn't get sick very often at all. So this suddenly back to back is incredibly strange to me. Any help would be gladly welcome, I'm currently unemployed and have no insurance. So i'd like to at least perhaps have an idea before having to pay for multiple exams.
Avatar f tn Just for alittle back ground info I am 25 year old healthy and physically active female. This all started when I was 16 with my shoulder. I was having intense pain in my right shoulder (I played volleyball then) and went to the doctor after weeks of pain with no improvement. He said it was a rotator cuff injury (inflamed ligiments in the shoulder) and gave me anti-inflamatory meds and sent me home. Eventually it went away for a little while but came back about 3 months later.

Avatar f tn I am 19 and healthy, five foot one and 125 pounds, and I walk wherever I have to go during the week (I live on a small campus), I only drive on the weekends. I drink lots of water and milk, no pop or caffiene during weekdays. But whenever I sit cross-legged or even if I just stay in one position too long, I get painfully stiff joints, especially my knees and ankles and occassionally my wrists. It's difficult to move again once they become stiff until they relax and loosen up again.
Avatar n tn He then started to complain about soreness in his muscles, stiffness in his joints, achiness and dizziness. This stiffness and soreness were in different parts of his body at different times. First his right hand, then his lower back, then his legs were sore, then his left hand, with no rhyme nor reason. He said his soreness felt like he'd worked out all day, but actually hadn't done a thing.
