Avatar f tn Yes you have to go to a dietician and calculate your BMI. After that based on your metabolic rate a diet chart can be made specifically for you. You have to follow this very strictly along with exercise/cardio/weights to lose the desired weight. Avoid fried food/desserts/sweets/choclates/junk food. Remember your output should be more than your input of calories. Take care!

4726133 tn?1361993373 While eating right is always a good ideal I am not sure that eating a boring diet all the time is needed, as a matter of fact I am cirrhotic and while my doctor is all for eating better and not gaining weight it is nothing he harps about... I really don't think eating a steak at times is going to do much harm... This is a lot easier to deal with if we don't torture ourselfs... Wishing you the best......

I am drinking two 20 oz super clean vegan protein shakes (w/ vitamins and minerals) a day where I add coconut oil for extra fat.. Then a couple 40 oz green smoothies w/ aloe, ginger, tummeric, chia, berries, kale, spinach, oranges, redgrapes, other fruits and veggies... I eat mostly vegetarian, meat would be way too much right now...

Fermented foods, though common in some parts of the world where certain disorders seem quite rare, are very much important for one to be able to withstand parasitic infections.
Avatar n tn I know that sometimes I get a reaction from eating too much garlic/onion, but I haven't experience it for a long time now, and I love garlic bread. I don't eat too much onion or garlic though, I kept it low on the intake, since I don't actually like it that much, but I love the smell of it in my cooking. And I haven't been to a doctor about this. Two nights ago my partner brought home some fried rice, which I know it has garlic in it, just that I don't know how much.

Avatar m tn There's a good website channel called Nadia's Healthy Kitchen which has all vegan and gluten-free recipes, mainly desserts. They're pretty quick, I actually used her banana bread recipe today. If there is one thing not to eat - at least for me - it's dairy. It doesn't have even be straight dairy, I can eat baked products with dairy in them and people with start sniffling and rubbing their noses almost instantly.

251922 tn?1193786078 i think it depends on whether you order from european pharm or indian pharm. indian takes a bit longer and costs a little more. mine came in exactly 18days counting weekends. no Rx needed. this order though they asked some health questions but i don't remember them doing that before.
Avatar n tn I can't help but to think that his body is not in tune with something he is eating or rather, not eating. I kind of wish that I could take on his problem because I am Extremely aware of my own body (sensitive) and have always stopped consuming or started consuming foods based on how it made me feel. Anyway, I will keep searching the web for answers for flatulence then, try them out on my husband (Especially for my sake).
Avatar n tn You can find hair recipes with this stuff on YouTube and I purchase supplies at my local Indian market. I use Indian gooseberry powder known as AMLA and Vatika brand coconut oil mixed with water. Add water to AMLA powder (to make a paste or runny mixture to coat scalp an hair) and let sit for 15 or 30 mins. Then I add oil and massage scalp. The amla has a strong smell but try to keep in for an hour or as long as you can. Rinse and shampoo/condition. Hope this helps ladies. Keep your head up!

I have absolutely no sense of Smell what so ever, and only recently started to taste this awful taste in my mouth that does not seem to fad, I can’t explain the taste it is like nothing I have tasted before, you could say it resembles the taste of Blood or metal, but no matter how many times I brush my teeth it does not seem to ware off.

Some ppl do the pineapple cure in which you eat&drink nothing but pineapple and pineapple juice for 3 days, worms can't take that much acid and die. You can also eat one tablespoon of coconut everyday in the breakfast. Also a small cup of grated carrot taken every morning is said to be offensive to all kinds of parasites.

I'm wondering how important this is to the final out come. I to am in the gym 6 days a week with weight training, cardio and cycling. Avatar n tn Still, the best way to let it heal is to eat healthy and be fit, which I'm working on currently. I'm eating very little meat. The odor seems to go down a little bit if I do some hard exercise regularly. I hypothesise this is the result of sweating toxins out of the body, not leaving them in the pores. Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with interstital cystitis about 4 years ago (I've always ahd a sensitive bladder- my diet and eating properly really helps this) however I've tested negative for yeast ever since these symptoms started (so I know mine is not chronic yeast infections.) I haven't had any inflammation anywhere else either. If you have any other idea's I'm up for listening. Thanks.
