Families are weird when it comes to food even when it doesn't involve health. So most families don't eat the same food anyway. If you do it in a nice way and offer to help prepare and shop for the food even if you can't pay for it, you might talk your family into going along with your desires without you having to eat the same as them.

I also feel tingling down below. I contracted NSV-2 in August. The blisters went away within 2 weeks, but the redness, burning sensation remained. Physician Assistant recommended the Zorivax cream (5% alcylovir cream). Didn't know it is not really recommened for genital herpes except maybe the first one and should not be put on the sores! I thought it was everytime I had tingling, I was using often in hopes of preventing an outbreak.

Also, we who have been in this situation, might naturally feel and find it hard to understand how people can have, healthy child after healthy child, even into thier 40s but we seem to not be able to have this same experience. Well I don't have to say it because MrsOckert and AJ said it already. BH is a great step mom or potential step mom. She is doing her best in a very stressful and difficult situation. She has always did what was best for the entire family, she is just tired of having to constantly bend for others and then left to feel like the odd one out. Her fiance constantly puts everyone before her and his new child.

I don't agree that blended families almost never work (most of the blended families that I know work just perfectly). I think they do take more work sometimes. My suggestion is that you tell your husband that you can't, and shouldn't, let this persist any longer because its not healthy for your new family unit. He then has to be the one to stop giving in to his daughter.

If they don't mind having that many children then that's great! Big families can be a blessing. I'm sure they find ways to make it work and stretch their dollar. They have to.
