Avatar n tn I need some suggestions on healthy eating throughout pregnancy.I have two kids but this pregnancy I'm really really wanting to be really healthy since I haven't lost baby weight from my second son seeing as he's only 5 months old.

My fiancé has two kids 4 and 8 and I want to make like a chart with the rules about the baby so that they know. My fiancé will let them do whatever they want with the baby so I know I need to be the one to put my foot down about it! I think a chart is a good idea. I need some ideas for some good rules that they will understand and my fiancé won't get mad about!

Avatar f tn They catch on pretty fast that you mean business when their stomachs are rumbling. Once she eats on her own, praise her, and set up a chart where she puts stickers on for every meal eaten; it doesn't have to be a full meal, kids that age go through phases where they stop growing so much and their appetite diminishes, it usually comes back with a vengeance soon enough!

Avatar f tn Women my height are supposed to be 130 lbs at the minimum to be considered healthy by the chart but if i were to be that size, I would be carrying way too much extra weight. I have an extremely small bone structure for my height, my wrist is the size of the 5 year old kids that I babysit!! I wear size 6 in shoes, my ring size is 4, but i have a healthy sized waist and wear size 26 pants. I look thin but not like skeletal or anything.
Avatar f tn I have a yogurt for breakfast, fruit and nuts for morning snack, salad for lunch, cucumbers and yogurt dip for afternoon snack, and for dinner lean protein and veggies of some sort, and an evening snack of a soda or lemonade and maybe a couple spoons of ice cream (I can't have too much - lactose intolerant) or a couple craxkers with cheese
Avatar n tn Dont waste ur money on food that are not healthy and just are for taste.Eat fruits and healthy veggies so body gets enough nutrients for healthy growth.U also need to have strong will power to control.U can also tell ur family to eat healthy.Make sure they also have the knowledge about right eating if in case they r not eating.Weather u have less money or more money always buy healthy foods.Be strict about it. Hope this helps.

Avatar n tn Look up "the full plate diet" it's really NOT a diet, but healthy eating. That's what I do, all it is, is a high fiber diet eating lots of whole grains (brown rice, wheat bread, oatmeal) fruits, vegetables and water.

I'm worrying I am not eating as healthy as I should be. I'm constantly hungry and looking for some good recommendations.
