Hello, if you have a sore throat due the hiv infection (ars symptoms), is it very painfull?? I had a risk 18 days ago, since the 5 th day i have an up and of going sore throat it is not that bad, could it have something to do with ars symptoms? I dont have no fever, headache, no swollen lymph nodes.. just the sore throat..
I have always been an anxiety ridden person,but here recently I have been clenching my teeth a lot more and I think it is causing the back of my tounge and the front parts of my throat to be sore but not like a sick sore really like a muscle strain sore. I carry a lot of anxiety in my neck and shoulders and I do find myself clenching my jaw quite a bit anymore,but I am now thinking that my tounge and throat muscles are now tensing up.
Your persistent symptoms of sore throat, ear pain and lymph node swelling could be due to a throat infection, most probably streptococcal or a viral infection. Strep sore throat needs to be treated with an antibiotic as strep is a bacteria. Viral sore throat is best treated with rest, warm oral fluids and (OTC) Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for pain.
I also had an extreme headache i even took over the counter meds but didnt seem to help my headache really. Recently my throat is sore again and i have the headache back along w/ achy muscles and tiredness. I am really worried that it may be hiv virus because i had unprotected sex only 3 weeks prior to getting sick. I dont think i actually have a fever but my head gets really hot then goes away suddenly. I also have weird poops not exactly diahria.
Over the course of the day my symptoms worsened, I had a severly sore throat, swollen glands, headache, all of my joints ached but mot my muscles and had no fever. The next day I saw my family doctor. He tested for strep, (test was negative). He said my lungs sounded good, no sinus problems and blood pressure was fine. Said he had no idea what it was. I was instructed to take Ibuprofen and chloriseptic spray for thoat to help with pain.
It eventually turned into a sharp pain in the bottom of my throat, and eventually into a sore throat then went away without knowing what it was. This lasted about a month and i forgot about it. Today i noticed a sharp pain while i was breathing. It hurts my whole chest but starts in the sternum. I thought it was a continuation of pain through the knots in my back (minor scoliosis) but i noticed by the end of the day that this is exactly how that strange sore throat felt like last time!
Since the toliet incident, I have noticed my throat feels strange and sore muscles in the back of my neck and my back feels tight and a bit sore. I do not have a fever or headache, nor sensitivity to light. But, is it possible that I contracted meningitis from the toliet water after using the pipe and handling the keys?
Last Sunday, I started the gym again and did vigorous ab exercises (sit ups and crunches) after a year-long haitus. I also did arm exercises with weights.
My muscles are so sore & They feel so heavy, like when I lift them to get in the car. I also have so much trouble with my feet I can't exercise. I have diabetes & I really need to excercise What do you think it could be?
Even when the headaches eases and goes away, the related sore spots are quite tender have remained that way for several days thereafter. During the height of the headache I find that if I press on the sore spots my head and headache clear a bit and although the spots are indeed sore I sometimes do this to temporarily relieve the pain of the headache itself. When the sore spots are on my forehead I can sometimes observe a bit of swelling but never discoloration.
My neck is so sore I think I slept wrong last night! Please help me what can I do I know massage is not good in the 1st trimester I've tried stretching it but it's still there, it's gonna give me a headache I can see it!!!
it does sound like migraine or tention heachache with it being sore all the time , my head is always sore 24-7 for years i got a ct scan now they say its like a trap nerve there as my neck is always sore i wouldnt no what it is like 2 get aday without having a sore head , u should go back see a different dr , although u feel like the drs just dont listen when you go and say to them .
I've had a sore throat for three months with no other symptoms. In April, I went to Urgent Care, because it felt like my throat was on fire it was so unbelievably sore. After being tested I was told that I thankfully do not have strep throat. She prescribed me medication called Loratadine, which I began taking once a day and suggested taking a Benadryl every night before bed.
Since about last Saturday(1/26), I started to develop a sore throat. It was very slight then so I started taking precautionary measures (Vitamin C, NyQuil, gargle saltwater, etc.) It started progressing to something worse. Around Tuesday (1/29) I woke up not feeling well at all. I'm a college student without a car at a BIG university so I don't have easy access to see a doctor. I did make an appointment with the nearest health center. I had a 103 fever. I was given tylenol to reduce.
