What are Doctors thinking about the HCG injections for weight loss? Is is safe and does it work? I am considering a diet that says its a miracle hormone. I'd like to hear from some Medical Doctors please..
I have done the HCG diet in the past with much success. I got married in September and a few months prior decided to start dieting for the wedding. With not much time, and a lot of weight to lose, I did the HCG diet. I lost about 30 pounds over a trial of 2 months. I wasn't great at following the diet word for word or I'm sure I would have lost more weight. I am now trying the diet again after gaining some weight back because I was eating fast food for lunch everyday. Good Luck!

Hi I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and found out I have gallstones. They have told me to eat a fat free and dairy freediet for the next 12 weeks when iI will be checked again as surgery whilst I'm pregnant is risky. I am having a really hard time coming up with recipes and options to fill myself up, so far nothing I make had any flavour and it is putting me off eating. Does anyone have any recipes they could share?
go on long walks, stay in touch with old and new friends, start a new hobby, plan day trips and spontaneous outings, hit the gym, start a blog or learn new cooking recipes ... distract yourself and find happiness.
before you know it, you'll find yourself pregnant AND with a successful job application ;-)

Has any one else been placed on a low sodium diet by their baby doctor? I was told I have high blood pressure and just as a caution I should go on a low sodium diet. So I've been Googling recipes and things but I'm not finding to many. Does any one has some advice about the diet or some amazing recipes? That would be amazing!!
If you could completely cut all sugar and basically all grains and not overdo your fruit intake, you would be eating a perfect diet for GD. (and a really awesomely healthy diet in general!
This doesn't sound like a very healthy diet to me. I'm a bit wary of the HCG injections, and a 500 calorie diet is restrictive to the point of being dangerous.
Why would you want to do this type of diet when there are so many better ways to lose weight and keep it off?
Eating healthy should be a way of life, not some unhealthy crash diet that is impossible to maintain.
I'm sorry, I can't give a whole lot of suggestions or motivation for the HCG diet, because there is no real science that supports it. While you may lose weight initially on it, chances are you will regain it all, plus some, because the diet is not meant to be sustained long term and as soon as you go off from it and return to a normal diet, you'll regain all the weight.
A 500 calorie/day diet is basically a starvation diet.
Hi I posted and article on my blog about hCG yesterday. Not sure if I'm allowed to give you the link but I'll give it a go. It talks about why it supposed to work but also why research says it doesn't. I've also talked about the side effects. is diets using shot os hcg safe for breast cancer survivor, im looking into transformations medical weight loss clinic, and also Medi fast, im obese so that isnt safe, and ive tried everything , i have yo yo so many times that now this fat seems to be cement, are these injections safe for me, ive been cancer free for 8 years
