I'm 5 weeks pregnant.
Every one at work urges me to stop smoking NOW immediatly. I've been smoking 8years. I'm stopping slowly because I'm afraid my body will go into shock. Am I doing the rite thing?
My husband and I like long and "deep" lovemaking.Is it safe to have sex during pregnancy like we used to or should we take it slow?

Its only in recent years there been so much research and pressure to quit.
So I'm 22weeks along and I use to smoke marijuana And cigarette while pregnant in my first trimester and I stop smoking around 7weeks and I've been having really bad problems and stressing so much, thanks to my family.. Cuz we have never been lucky, when something happens there's always more to come, and I've been stressing so much were I broke down today and smoked a very small bowl or weed.. And I feel guilty to even do it but it calmed me down and relaxed me so much..
While having sex with my boyfriend, it is hurting me so much in fact last time i found some blood on my underwera after we had sex!! What could be the problem? His thing is so big and i'm really tiny do you think this is the problem? But i'm having this problem only now we've been together for 8 months!
I would suggest having a proper conversation with your doctor but as far as i am aware, smoking, whether it be cigarettes or marijuana (if that's what you mean by licensed), is perfectly fine to do as long as you keep as much smoke away from your breasts as you can, so obviously cover up and wash your hands afterwards (:
I quit smoking at 5 weeks because it made me so sick! My girlfriend is also prego and she has been struggling to quit! She got an e CIG from the gas station and it has helped! But her doctor told her if she can't quit and it's stressing her out then she shouldn't quit fully! The stress is worse for the baby then smoking. So she is smoking 3 cigs a day now and she's 28 weeks. Smoking gives lower birth weights and can cause lung issues for your baby.
Thanks as always Teak. One more thing, I went on PEP after having unprotected anal sex (receptive) with an unknown basically. I did it for a couple of minutes and no ejaculation involved. I've read on MedHelp's forums that for short periods of time and when there is no ejaculation involved, it turns into a low risk situation, correct me if am wrong though. I wanted to get your take on this, was PEP really necessary?
can i say i smoked with both of mine, and they were born 4 weeks eary their weight was good 5-6 pds but my youngest had asthma when he was little i think it was from me smoking , he has out grown it now, but they say later in life they could get cancer from you smoking , so try and quit if you can. i know a lot that smoke when pg but its true you made that choice they baby cant .
