They would occur as I drift off to sleep, and also wake me up during sleep. While sleeping it feels like some one is tieing up my legs and arms and i am struggling to set myself free, this is followed by sudden jolt and I wake up, feel short of breath.Sometimes it gets worst that i open the door and get out in the open air. Due to this problem i am not able to sleep properly. sometimes i would have completely sleepless nights.
i have a two year old son and every night when my son falls asleep he twitches i noticed this a while ago and thought it was him having an active dream but not i am watching him and it seems like he twitches more than before, is this something to be concerned about? he is a normal two year old, healthy no problems besides fever seizures but other than that he is a good child that sleeps good.

For several months now, I have been suffering from numbness in my hands while sleeping. I wake up during the night or in the morning with numb hands and sometimes with slight tingling. I have no pain and I have no numbness during the day. Does anyone know what is causing this? I haven't been to the doctor yet as I keep thinking the problem will go away but it's not.
I'm in the same boat with my husband with no real answers yet than a firm diagnosis of PTSD. One thing I can tell you for certain is that ambien made the nighttime "Fight Club" episodes far worse. As psychotherapy has now begun, I can count on a few bad nights in a row after a session. That means one of us has to head to the guest room. Not that it helps that much since he screams and yells all night too.
My partner of 4 years wants sex while he is sound asleep. It is the oddest thing. This is true. I was surprised and hurt when we were in the middle of sex he turned over and went to sleep. I have been having odd experiences while asleep. Its hard to explain but here it is the best i can describe. In the mid of the night, I wake up to the feeling of vibrations/shaking of my body and the bed, my eyes have to be open becasue i can see but cant move them, ill have a major feeling of fear for a couple seconds, but cant move a bit....then it will go away and i feel exhausted, dizzy and just icky all around. and Im tingling a lil after it.
OK well I have ocd and intrusive thoughts and I have a lot of the symptoms for a personality disorder.... Now I have a fear of having one..... I'm scared I might be phsyco and do something violent! Please help!does anyone have any advice???
For the past 8 months I have been experiencing muscle twitching throughout my whole body while sleeping. It is becoming very disruptive to my sleeping as well as to my partners. I have been diagnosed with a seizure disorder and am taking 200 mg of Topomax per day. My recent blood test have shown a low B-6 level so I started taking supplements. Also, I am waiting for the results of an overnight eeg. Is there anything that can be done to control these twitchings?
