1562986 tn?1295038108 it would be way too early to tell it takes 10 days for a fertilised egg to implant. Also if you had sex a day before your period i would have thought ud have ovulated 14days before and since eggs only stay alive for 12-24hrs it seems impossible unless you had unprotected sex around ovulation or have irregular period. Rhi315 is correct by saying the more you stress the more it wont come, our bodies like to play cruel tricks.
Avatar f tn If your spotting goes to a period, it's just a period, so you wait until you're done and then you try again. But after you conceive it takes somewhere in the range of 8-10 days for the baby to implant and start producing the hormones that the pregnancy test measures, so that's why I say wait 2 weeks...doing it earlier would probably be a waste of your money.
Avatar f tn my friend had unprotected sex 2 days before her period but she got her period on the expected date. she had sex on august 16 and got her menstruation on august 18. she is worried that she might be pregnant because she's feeling dizzy, abdominal bloating, uti signs and symptoms and back pain. she has 28 days cycle for menstruation. i told her she's not pregnant but i decided to ask you to confirm.
Avatar n tn The chance of getting pregnant from having sex right before your period starts is very unlikely. A woman normally ovulates approximately 12-14 days after their first day of their cycle, although every woman is different, I am sure there is a slight chance, but i am going to say not likely!
1775890 tn?1317601233 Using that and the 8th as her expected period she had sex 2 days before ovulation placing her in perfect timing for it. She needs to take a pregnancy test. Also, unless she wants to get pregnant they need to be more responsible about sex and use protection.
Avatar f tn It felt like the feeling I get right before my period and it happened right after I came back from my walk. I just had my regular pap smear in August and I was wondering if I should be worried. Please comment! It would be greatly appreciated!
Avatar f tn You can't be pregnant and still be having a normal period. You need to have sex leading up to ovulation to increase your chances of conceiving and if you do conceive then, then you wouldn't have gotten your period a couple of weeks after. So the nausea etc you're feeling isn't because of pregnancy - it;s something else. For future reference you need to test at least 2 weeks after intercourse or when you period is late.
Avatar f tn After having a miscarriage your period normally returns within 4-6 weeks. It is very common for your cycle to be altered once you become pregnant; whether or not it ends in a miscarriage or live birth. On the other hand, you can very well conceive again in between this period, as some women become even more fertile during this period. The symptoms that you are having are all common. After lsoing a baby, your body has to readjust to being not pregnant.
Avatar f tn Hi all, Where do I begin, I started my last period on the 28/29th of June and it stopped on the 3rd of July.I had unprotected sex a few days after and again on the 13th. So six days later I had a tiny bit of brownish spotting on my underwear and nothing since.
Avatar f tn i have read that you cant get pregnant right before period, me and my bf had unprotected sex on the 9th.. and now its the 13th and my period has not came.... is it to early to test? and are the chances low of me being pregnant?
612603 tn?1227959456 it was a day after my cycle stopped that was the only time I had sex was the day after my period. Having unprotected sex at anytime is risky for anything pregnancies, STD's, STI's, HIV & AIDS have safe protected sex & always talk to someone or your doctor.
Avatar m tn I'm asking this for a friend. She's 15, and is having problems with her period. 2 years ago she met a guy and they started having sex almost weekly for 1-2 years, not using any kind of birth control, and not pulling out during ejaculation. She hasn't had any signs of pregnancy since that point. Since January of last month, her periods have stopped, until today. She is going to the hospital for blood tests soon, but, they don't even know that she's had sex like that before.
Avatar f tn Very unlikely it all depends on when you ovulate but i cant see you concieving the day before your period it tends to be atleast ten days after but all women and there cycles vary
Avatar f tn But yes i have been having sex. Last month march was my last time having sex. I was supposed to recieve my period soon after but instead, got light brown discharge... not something i was looking forward to seeing. Now were in april, Im not supposed to be seeing my period yet. But i've been seeing the same light brown discharge for a week now.. maybe a little longer. This is strange, ive always had a regular period and now this.?
Avatar m tn Anyway, we had sex the night before removal and I did not know until a few hours after Mirena was removed that having sex within a week of removal was risky for pregnancy. I immediately went to the pharmacy to get a Plan B pill. So, I had sex, roughly 10 hours later had Mirena removed, and about 6 hours after that, took Plan B. What are my chances of being pregnant.
Avatar f tn You shouldn't be having sex honesty after only two Weeks, you could get an infection. But, after my d&c, i got my period 5 1/2 Weeks later, then conceived. Itd be better to wait one cycle, atleast so you could be sure how far along you are if you do become pregnant again.
Avatar f tn We are trying to get pregnant and this was are first go around, recebtly off the pill, had sex during ovulation the day before and after. I waited and waited and ended up with very small amount of bleeding during what should have been implantation...ive been tired moody now recently emotional and everything makes me want to cry. I have been nauseated some evenings usually right before bed and I pee constantly.
Avatar n tn Because this question comes up so often on these forums I spoke to my midwife and OB about it. YES, it is possible to get pregnant right before your period, though the likelihood is very low. Our bodies are not machines and are constantly changing so just because you ovulate a certain day one month, it doesn't mean it won't change the next. It is possible that you just ovulated later, which would make your period later.
Avatar f tn Unless you have perfect cycles you can ovulate at any time, including right before and during a period. While the odds are not high, no one can say for sure whether pregnancy will happen. The only thing you can do is wait 2-4 weeks and take a pregnancy test with first morning urine.
