Yes, you can, if you are not using a back-up birth control method or if you are and the back-up fails. In fact, if you miss three or more with most, they tell you to start over again with a new pack. And the sugar pills don't really matter. They're just reminder pills so you start your new pack at the right time. From everything I've read, your pill needs to be taken 24 hours apart and not much longer if you do go past to be at maximum efficacy.

all the birth control pills i have been on you take them 4 weeks (4 rows of pills) worth and the last row is just reminder pills that dont contain any hormones. so you never stop taking them.

Mike and R Glass, you two have probably hit on the big problem you folks are having with your political situation in the US. I think most people (at least most of you that I meet here and that I know in the US) are really pretty middle ground. You might feel more strongly about one party or another, but still...somewhere in the middle. But it sort of looks to me like so many of your politicians have become so extreme. No room for negotiation...their way or no way.

For the most part i easily brush it off. However lately i dont have the extreem hate of the pills and the addiction they cause like i had during detox and the first month. What do you mean by not having a regular period on the pill? Are you not bleeding at all during your week of placebo ("sugar"/reminder) pills? My periods are significantly lighter and last less time on the pill, if this two day figure means you are only bleeding two days during that time.

One more thing--and it's soooo obvious: maybe you're just not turned on to your partner--or you're conflicted about having p-v sex. Perhaps something is getting in the way for you, and you're just not turned on, which is interfering with lubrication. This is something for you to examine. Good luck.

I started sprintec about five weeks ago...I have SUPER heavy periods (fibroids) and actually qualify for a hysterectomy, but my insurance is crap and it would cost me $2600 out of pocket. I also always have.a.BAD case of PMS!!! 28 day packs, take a pill every day. The last 7 days on this pack have pills which have nothing in them but are generally used as a reminder to always take your pill. I often preferred this one. I tended to take mine at night so I wouldn't forget and if there were any side effects (such as nausea) I'd sleep through them (hopefully)!!
