I was recently diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and syringomyelia, my surgery is scheduled in 4 weeks and needless to say I am scared and happy at once. U can also expect to have more contractions then considered normal but always call ur doc if you have more then 4 in an hour. When you go for your assessment theyll prob do an nst test on you which monitors babes heartrate while u contract. It can also indicate how many.contractions ur getting and how far apart. Thank you all for your replies. To be honest we all know that opiates are helPful for the pain but ca do absolutely nothing for the cause. I'm just looking for a caring dr who will help me discover the best course of treatment, my hope would that it be non prescription narcotic or not. Maybe surgery would actually "fix" it. Some days I cannot even move but you're right in the fact that I will never know the true pain until I get off the dope that masks it.
There's nothing wrong with yoy it's your hormones my husband an I had sex for the 1st time in like a month or so an I couldn't wait for it to be over with I feel bad but I always refuse to do it to. It'll change once you have the baby.
