i seem to have a lot of the symptoms of herpes, however, no one seems to have ever started having symptoms within hours of contact nor do they have symptoms everyday. is this possible or is there other problems i can have like folliculitis or something of that sort? any help is much appreciative.

I know I don't have an std. I was recently checked for all possible and everything came back negative. I'm having vaginal swelling. My whole vagina is swollen mainly the opening. The lips of my vagina are swollen but not as bad. It is super red especially near the opening. I have no odor or discharge of any kind. It seems irritated or "brushed burned". It burns during and after sex but not during urination. It feels as if it may be torn a little also.

It is so frustrating to think that you can have such constant pain and no test can tell the doctor why?? I cry everyday because the pain is not getting any better and I have to suffer until something really bad happens because the doctors are out of anwers for my pain. This was not an HIV situation as you were told. HIV is transmitted through unprotected vaginal or anal sex, sharing IV drug works, and mother to infant. You don't need testing for this situation.
